What kind of sacrifice is that?
Knowing he can't really die and will go to some heaven and judge everyone? I'd take that kind of death any day.
No, the guy who throws himself on a grenade to save his buddies makes a sacrifice. For him, death is forever....no matter how slow and painful it may, or may not, be for him.
Humans make real sacrifices every day.

he didn't die for us. he just died cause these narrow minded romans didn't like christianity. but just befcause he died doesn't mean that it was "heroic" or anything. it just means that he's a martyr. there's nothing wrong wiht that, but don't give him more credit than he's worth
