Yeah well St. Paul was pervert. So?
Moses was a bloodthirsty creep, and his mother was his father's aunt.
Don't let details like that interfere with your relgious faith.

Blasphemy apparently is not as serious as you think. Your words just demonstrated a perfect example.
If you knew the word of God and what Jesus did that lead up to the point you are talking about .
False accusations?
These people had know idea what they were doing but it was to fulfill the prophesy of Isaiah 53.
Lies and rumors of lies.
Jesus was accuse yet he did not open his mouth.
He knew this would happen but he did not attempt to defend himself.
Just like life one is not a criminal until proven guilty. Humans abuse and beat people into submission can you fight a gang of worldly service men or women. Jesus could have bailed out at any time. But he was determined to save us. John 3:16.
Jesus is a role model for anyone that believes in the Christ. God is a love that can stand the test of time.
Is that any kind of role model for children? Yet God said said if we become as children for such is the kingdom.
Children trust and love unconditionally. They run and hide from danger and cry out to their Father when they are hurt.
Children are quick to forgive even when they are raped abused and beaten they will forgive and can keep family secrets for a long long time. Are you a good example for a child?
It is not saying that this was right and it was deserved. Jesus demonstrated that in this life we will have trouble on every side. But he is our advocate. And God answers prayer. Come what may God is still God.
Jesus had know criminal past he did just what he came to do. And said just what he knew would happen. He knows us and he knew them.
Have you ever been betrayed by a kiss. Someone you thought loved you and respected you as a person. Someone so close to you that you knew their every breath and word.
Someone you shared your thoughts with. Told them every thing about you. To the point they knew your every step and knew where to find you on any accasion? You gave them your bread and shared your home? Now that one is the criminal. Judas! Believe me there are still men and woman like him today.
No greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends! So Jesus did!

if he was sentenced for blasphemy by the Jews why was it a roman death? only roman citizens were crucified and that was under roman law not Hebrew law?
although the blasphemy would still stand as the emperor was also considered a son of god and any thread of rebellion would of been crushed by the Romans and Pilate wasn't such a impotent governor otherwise he wouldn't of been governor for so long

here is scientific facts which is common sense.
as a scienist, i knew the emptiness of an atom, who electrons are so small, that only one millionth part of that atomic
value is occupied, I also knew that the human body is compose of such "empty" atoms that you and i are actually
999,999,999,999 parts empty space!
LEE CHESTNUT, former muclear science lecturer andauthorof THE ATOM SPEAK AND ECHOES THE WORD OF GOD,
that this emptiness must be filled up with something: either the Spirit of GOD or spirit of evil/satan. As he said , "You and I must decided between satan or The Lord Jesus Christ, and which is to occupy and fill our lives. when Christians read of this, surely they will be convicted..them not having Jesus, might understnad, what is that missing in my life..I hope you consider what this scienist said, which if Facts about JESUs existance as well satan..lots of folks got wealth and stuff, still empty on the inside...THIS IS THERE ANSWER..share this with others.

You have a right to believe the way you do and I support that right. However, I also have a right to believe the way I do and I believe that Jesus did die for our sins, and was wrongly accused. However, it was God's plan, so it all worked out in the end. I will pray for you not only to become Saved, but also, that you have a much better choice in questions and not be so idiotic and stupid. Thanks, and have a great day!

The people convicted him of blasphemy. That doesn't mean he was ACTUALLY a convicted criminal. The Pharisees were jealous and made him look bad. Jesus never did anything wrong. Everyone makes false judgments, and the Pharisees made one against Jesus.

The Jewish elders convicted him for a crime he didn't commit,
(he didn't blaspheme against God) and the Romans
carried out the maximum penalty. Usually martyrs (ie John
the Baptist) end up losing their heads or some such.

Yep. Even got to bring his case before the Roman authority but could not get out of the charges. Seems he did not put up credible defense.
Seems like everyone involved Jews, pharasees, and Romans, all followed the law except for the defendent, Jesus.

Jesus said he was God's Son, that God is the father, and that everyone is part of Gods family - that message was not Blasphemy - it was Simon/Peter who went around teaching that Jesus was the Christ - Peter was a stupid man, who was wrong - Jesus died because of his sins; the Catholic Church was started upon Peters "mistruths".

Considering he was killed for fighting against the religious establishment of the day; it's not a bad role model at all!
