Ok, I believe in God, I believe Jesus died for my sins, but I dont really believe in hell, and think the Bible was all messed up by man. I believe that God has given some people a gift to see into the future and tell what dreams mean, because I have that talent, just cant use it on myself for some odd reason. I have seen spirits and heard them. I believe in Demons, or really nast spirits whatever you wish to call them. so... what am I? yes, I will be the firdt to admit, I am a little crazy so you can save your breath there, be nice. :)

He was a cold-blooded murderer who mercilessly slaughtered thousands. Many people say that Islam is a religion of peace. How can it be a religion of peace if its followers are exalting a murderer? I think Muhammad is a disgrace to Islam and should be dropped from the list of prophets. Why don't you exalt Jesus instead of Muhammad? How many people did Jesus kill? None.

So many of us identify ourselves quickly by saying just one thing, Atheist, Pagan, Wiccan, Christian, etc. but most of us are influenced by so many different ideas. Who here feels very strongly that one term alone just doesn't fit them? Is your spiritual philosophy a fusion of religions or paths, if so which ones?

Okay what I want to know is why if it's the same church is it named differently in Europe and in America? In Europe it's known as the Epicopalian Church and the religion is known as Episcopalianism. But in America it's know as the Anglican Church and the religion is known as Anglicanism. But why is it named differently? Both by the way are Liberal Protestant denominations of Christianity for those who may not know not that I'm either.

3. Near the end of Chapter 4, Rossi says, "Human history's full of evil deeds, and maybe we ought to think of them with tears, not fascination." Does he follow his own advice? How does his attitude toward history evolve in the course of his own story?

Think of how many babies drowned in the Flood. Think of the kids who were killed because they mocked a prophet that had a bald head.

Some people say that killing the babies was okay because they felt no pain and they will go to Heaven.

Even if it is true that they felt no pain, why is that still okay? If I kill a baby in a completely painless way, do I avoid getting arrested by saying that the infant felt no pain and the kid will go to Heaven? Of course not.

Why should God have a monopoly on killing babies?

As I take a giant leap and pretend that Jesus existed and is still existing, I find that I love him very much, because we drink much wine together and the women really dig us.

Okay, My husband and I worked with a youth group at a local church. I got really closed to the pastors oldest daughter. She was going through a rough time and I really felt that God had brought me there to be an influence to her and encourage better behavior. After being there 2 years we felt led to leave the church.

This girl will be 18 in a few weeks. Her parents are really hard on her. She has rededicated her life to the Lord and has really matured through the years. She is a senior and is working a part time job. Her dad refers to her as a pain in his flesh. her parents are always telling her to get a second job to pay for her school supplies and school clothes. She pays her Car payment, Car Taxes, Insurance, gas and cell phone bill. They do not make her younger sister pay for her own cell phone.

She feels really close to me and my family. I have 4 children ages 7 ,4 and 2 year old twins. Should I let her move in with us? What is your opinion?

If you only opened your heart to the wisdom of Dharma and the infinite compassion of Sangha, you could save your souls from the torments of samsara. May the Ten-fold Path have mercy on you and your children.

He rejected the "God" of the Old Testament, right? He said that Old Testament God does not exist! He then tried to introduce a new "God" concept that was so forcefully rejected it cost him his life.
