Yes. Amazing isn't it? Just as Paul said, he counted the sufferings of this life not worthy of being compared to the glory to come (the kingdom of God). These men knew what is really important; standing firm on the word of God. I pray to be as humble and devout as they were.

Acts 5:41
The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.

I think it means that they were glad they could be found guilty for obeying Jesus. The laws of the Sanhedrin's were mere stupidity and selfish human ambitions. The apostles wanted to be more than that, they wanted to be followers in the law of Jesus.

As persecution came, the disciples prayed and became even more bold. When opposition came, they became even more determined to teach and preach the good news. When suffering came, they rejoiced because they considered it an honor to be counted worthy to suffer for the Name of Christ. To know that to honour his name despite persecution that will face But to be bold in his name JESUS that is an GREAt hour!!!! glory to GOD!!

if anyone is looking, read the book of acts, it is near the start point

your first answer (she needs to allow email) was correct, these knew they were identified with the LORD and that was what mattered

you remember the deal some time back, if you were accused of being a christian is there enough evidence to convict you? here was the proof that they knew validated them to be identified with the teaching of Jesus.

as for the dude who has the horse with wings symbol, ignor such a one, for his condemnation is self evident. pray that he has a change of heart.

One of the phrazes that sums up the Christian beliefs. It suggests that we must obey the word of God no matter what the others force us to do, and to take the mocking that others have in store for us, if that is what is necessary for that cause. I am Orthodox by the way.
