Think of how many babies drowned in the Flood. Think of the kids who were killed because they mocked a prophet that had a bald head.

Some people say that killing the babies was okay because they felt no pain and they will go to Heaven.

Even if it is true that they felt no pain, why is that still okay? If I kill a baby in a completely painless way, do I avoid getting arrested by saying that the infant felt no pain and the kid will go to Heaven? Of course not.

Why should God have a monopoly on killing babies?

Where do little kids come from?

Hey "O", glad to see U back. Here is the Problem requiring the "Flood". Fallen Angels had sex with human women creating a "Hybrid Race" of "Mighty Men" that Permeated almost All Blood Lines except Noahs'. This was Not a case of "Mocking the Pelon" (Baldy). So God "Flushed" all the "Contamination" down the Tube! U won't understand this by just a "Surface Reading" of Scripture, it demands an Honest Study. God doesn't "Kill Babies", and Everybody dies at the Exact Right Time! That of course is the Problem! We have such a great love for our Family. We Never want to "Let Go" because we can't see / understand that God knows the Future and a Plan for Us & our Family that is Perfect!!! When a small child dies, is it really Tragic??? #1, if the Child is not of the "Age of Accountability" they go Straight to God having no more "Pain or Suffering", only Total Happiness"!!! So what Parent would not want that for their Children??? #2, perhaps if they lived longer, they would ruin their own lives with Drugs or a Wild Lifestyle or Become Prey for some Sick Wacko, that many Parents are Torn Apart by today. If God gave U the Child & He Did, then the Child is only on Loan to us and God Knows what is Best for the Child including the time of death. Yes, most of Us would like to have a perpetuation of our Lineage, but for too many Parents today, Children are just an "Inconvenience" while for some the Child is their Very Life!!! Hope this helps Ur understanding. John

You need to look at it from God's point of view - this life is a temporary condition, everyone must die; it's just a question of when, how, and what for.
God demonstrated the relative unimportance of death by offering himself up to die on the Cross as a human. Focus on the next, eternal life - it's the only one that really matters, ultimately. This life can be thought of as a test to qualify for the next one. In the context of the Flood, the communities were wiped out because they were 100% evil, bound for hell in any case.
You also forget that life comes from God - without him there would have been no babies in the first place.
I could also point out that the Old Testament is not where you should focus your attention - the fulfilment of the Torah lies in the New Testament,
Try reading Mathew, Mark, Luke and John for a change of view.
God Bless
Al

God doesn't kill little kids, other humans do. If humanity was not so greedy over money and materialistic things, then millions of children that have died would have been able to survive. Think about things like this before you ask a question. God is not responsible for running everything, that's why we have something called a mind, and free will.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. PERIOD. The world was full of evil and the Lord knew that these babies would grow up to be just like their sinful parents.

Hey, on the day that YOU become a god, you can call your own shots too!

God destroyed the evil and saved the righteous (Noah and his family). BTW He is getting ready to do something similar again!

ARE YOU SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST?

REPENT OR DIE!

Gen 6:5 ¶ And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Please stop blaming God

James 1: 12 - 15

Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

2 Peter 3: 8 - 10

"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief..."

With bad things God cannot be tried. These of nature's catastrophies were prophecied and they must come to pass. Do not let your faith waiver. Keep in mind Job. Remember Job?

Before the end, the good comes, critical times hard to deal with must come to pass. Do not blame God for all the bad things. Funny how many do not blame satan or man for all the badness in the earth, and how man has tampered with the ECO system by waste, pollution, global warming, etc., and yet man will blame God for all. Look into your own mirror. Could you be to blame?

God isn't limited as we are. He knows past, present, and future and can read every person's heart and mind all at once. Only he has the right to decide who lives and who dies, and when he makes the call to kill, he does it in perfect righteousness. God told the Jews to kill people and the Jews disobeyed. Thousands of years later the descendants of those people are killing innocents in great numbers, blowing up buildings, foaming at the mouth with hate, and destroying every good thing in their path. Yes, they are the Muslims. If the Jews had been obedient, would 9/11 have happened?

Why is it right for people to kill babies now?If you ask that question, then you ask the same question towards abortion. You need to read the whole story about the kids who were devoured by the bears. They were dually warned, and they didn't listen.Just like God and all his children are doing now.Just like Jesus did during his earthly ministry. That's why in the book of Peter he says we are all without excuse.

at james 1:12-15 the bible tells us "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

Yes, God does allow these things to happen but he is not the cause of it. We die because we are born as sinners. The Bible states: “That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.”—Romans 5:12
It is very sad when these things happen but Death is an enemy. The human race has many other common enemies, such as sickness and old age, which likewise cause much suffering. God promises to vanquish them all, finally passing sentence on mankind’s greatest foe. “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.”—1 Corinthians 15:26.

With that promise fulfilled, humans will enjoy perfect life, unmarred by sin and death. Meanwhile, we can take comfort in knowing that our dead loved ones are resting, and if they are in God’s memory, they will be resurrected in his due time.

God felt immense pain and loss over the flood, which is why he promised 5 times in the bible to never destroy the earth with water again.

Instead he sent his son as a sacrifice so that when we do the things we know we shouldn't, we can still find salvation because he loves us that much.

Of course killing kids is never okay, but its our choice if it happens. And we reap what we sow.

God is an observer. He does not judge on natural disasters or mistakes made by mankind. The so called acts of God are really acts of nature, murders are acts of man and accidents are just casualty. My question would be why doesn't God play a more proactive role in humanity's destiny.
