Isn't worshiping him mean worshiping God and man at the same time, which is polytheism?

This is my Opinions: Christians believe in Jesus ALOT more than God.Jesus cant be gods son.Jesus was a miracle.Since Mary had Jesus.Christians believe that God is Jesus Father because mary had jesus without a "MAN".So the Christians automatically go straight to God bc they cant think of any other "being"? I am a Muslim and we believe Jesus(isa)is Allah's(god) messenger(prophet).

I've done research on active prayer or "spell casting". Many witches use a number of things to aide them in casting basic spells. Is it necessary to use tools such as an athame, herbs, candles, various natural objects, etc to cast spells? I would think that so long as your INTENT is there the tools are JUST THAT_tools or aides used to focus your energy. Fellow witches: what tools do you use (if any) when casting basic spells?

I am at a cross roads. I can see from logic that Catholic Communion would be the right way (Transubstantiation) and I can see from history that Jesus and his followers started the fist church.

This is most probobly the existing Catholic Church.

However I have a problem with the whole rejection of grace alone. Its clear in the bible that salvation is a gift apart from works "so no man can boast" Now to take that as it is meant is that you can do nothing to earn it, its a gift from God.

that makes me question the whole purgatory things.

I dont need responses about where is this and that in the bible.

If you ask that question it just proves how ignorant of scripture you are. I can prove both viewpoints using the bible.

The only question is around history and how that supports such a view.

So if neither are absolutly right is the truth found in the middle.

Usually when He is telling one, it starts by saying "And he spake unto them a parable saying......." But not in Luke 16.

I read that in this article here that adoption is forbidden in Muslim countries:
US Soldiers care for Iraqi baby rescued from garbage
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/COL432796.htm

But from doing some research it seems Adoption is not forbidden, as long as the child is told that they are adopted and the child keeps his or her last name before they were adopted AND they are raised Muslim. Is this all true?

I am a Christian how could I raise a child Muslim?

Christians do you celebrate Christmas? You know, the presents, the tree, the mistletoe, the yule log, the stockings, etc.?
If so, why?

This is asked in the interest of fairness, after reading: "Just a question i have noticed that on this site there are quite a few Atheists can i ask you do you celebrate xmas? You know the tree, the christmas dinner, presents etc if so why ??"

Since almost nothing about the Christmas celebration is Biblical or Christian.....

The Mormons were not the only ones who used racism in their religion. Many Southern Baptist Preachers twisted the scriptures to further their own racist agenda. Let's not forget that the KKK is a so-called Christian organization. John Newton, who wrote "Amazing Grace" was a prolific Slave Trader. The famous slave ship that carried many African Slaves to their deaths or worst their enslavement was named "Jesus Christ". So one can see that there is a long history of racism in Christianity, in the western world.

The Bible was written by prophets, yet people have a hard time believing that there are still prophets that can receive messages that are not evil. I'm wondering how this works. God just all of a sudden stopped giving messages to people after the Bible was written? He just stopped making people that can hear? Are only old messages worthy of hearing? I believe that we can still have that type of communication, why is that difficult for a Christian to understand when they live by what prophets have written? I believe only God knows the future, but we are able to, "Do these things and many more." And the gift of prophesy in the Bible is the one that we should all want the most according to the Bible.

Did you have any special emotions when you prayed to Jesus to save you, or was the change after committing yourself to Him gradual? Anyone else who has had an expierence in which God's spirit has touched them, is welcome to comment as well.
