This is my Opinions: Christians believe in Jesus ALOT more than God.Jesus cant be gods son.Jesus was a miracle.Since Mary had Jesus.Christians believe that God is Jesus Father because mary had jesus without a "MAN".So the Christians automatically go straight to God bc they cant think of any other "being"? I am a Muslim and we believe Jesus(isa)is Allah's(god) messenger(prophet).

God told us that Jesus was His son.

And a voice came from the heavens, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17)

With love in Christ.

I am mormon, and in the LDS church, we do believe that Jesus is the son of god. People get this mixed up a lot. Don't worry. Jesus and God are not the same people. They are seperate beings. Everyone on this earth is a child of God and chose to follow Christ in heaven. There was a war in heaven. 1/3 followed Satan. Christ is called the son of god because he did nothing wrong. He toched no unclean thing and was a great example to everyone. He was crucified and he died for EVERYBODY'S wrongs. That is why he is called the son of God. He will come again. On the 2nd coming and no body knows when that will be. This is what the LDS church believes. I hope that helped.

It seems that we all need something to be greater than ourselves. Here is my belief in regard to your question.
Jesus, Buddha, Mohamed, Dao, and a few others that I have not forgotten, but who do not come to mind are all the Sons of God. These men were enlightened, thus they communicated with God. As a Muslim, or a Christian, or a Jew, who is to say that any one of the Sons of God is more correct then the other? Certainly not a lowly human being as we are.
The one thing that is constant in be a believers if FAITH, no matter what religious sect we may adhere to.

I don't think it really matters who or what Christ was. Besides Christ called himself the son of man, and when he taught us how to pray he started with, "Our Father". He did not set himself up to be on a higher plane than any human. He said that the works he did we could do with faith the size of a mustard seed. Those who believe Jesus was the son of God have the right to believe in that, just as you have the right to believe as you do. Personally I could care less if Jesus was God's son or not. The only thing I really care about is walking as Christ taught.

If you are Muslim believe this, dont worry what other believe:

From Quran
Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)

Chapter 3 - Al Imran
3:47 Said she: "O my Sustainer! How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me?" [The angel] answered: "Thus it is: God creates what He wills when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, 'Be' - and it is.

3:50 "And [I have come] to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, and to make lawful unto you some of the things which [aforetime] were forbidden to you. And I have come unto you with a message from your Sustainer; remain, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me.

3:51 "Verily, God is my Sustainer as well as your Sustainer; so worship Him [alone]: this is a straight way."

Chapter 19 Maryam (Mary)

19:20 Said she: "How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me? - for, never have I been a loose woman!"

19:21 [The angel] answered: "Thus it is; [but] thy Sustainer says, `This is easy for Me; and [thou shalt have a son,] so that We might make him a symbol unto mankind and an act of grace from US. And it was a thing decreed [by God]:

Matthew 3:17 tells us that Jesus is God's son and their are many verses that tell us that Jesus announced his divinity. But ultimatly the Church Christ founded determined the Scriptures that we accept today as being the Word of God and these Scriptures tell us that Jesus is both God's son and that Jesus is also God.

Jesus claimed to be God's Son, and also God, on several occassions. This is why Jews wanted to sotne him (John 5 and John 8).

Jesus also accepted worship, which is reserved for God alone.

Since Jesus claimed to be this, and if you say you accept Jesus as a prophet, then you must accept who he is.

Jesus is NOT a God nor is he God's son. the bible lists MANY people as being the "son of God" or "sons of God" or
"sons and daughters of God" it's just a figure of speech.

christians take it to a whole other level... and made Jesus into something he isn't/wasn't.

he was one of God's great prophets, sent to lead the Jewish people back on the staight path.. to worship God ALONE.

Jesus was more than a messenger or prophet. he was God manifest in the flesh. how else could he be touched with the feelings of our infirmities. he was the sacrifice for our sins. without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. sacrifices in the old testament of animals only pushed the people's sins up another year. God's sacrifice took care of it once and for all for those who choose to apply the blood to those sins. Mary conceived in her womb after the holy ghost came upon her. God took the seed of a woman to create a body for himself that could eventually pay the price for the sins of all mankind. he didn't cowardly send a little boy to do the job for him. the scripture says he took on flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father. if you know english you know the word as is used as a simile or a metaphor. that is the only way that people could put it into perspective to behold his glory the glory as of the only begotten...because he was conceived of the holy spirit. he was all God and All man at the same time.

Simple. The Bible says it is so, therefore it's so. I believe that our salvation depends on whether or not we accept Jesus, God's Son, as our Savior & Lord. Jesus said : " No man cometh unto the Father except through me. "
