You bring up a very good point! That doesn't really sound like something that a loving and fair God would do, does it? The Bible mentions that God created myriads and myriads of spirit creatures, and they reside in the spirit realm with him. Why would he create us as humans, and then take us from our loved ones just to be in heaven with him...he could have just created us as spirit creatures in the first place.
The Bible teaches that humans were made to inhabit the earth, it is perfect for sustaining our human bodies (except for the things that man has done to ruin it)...we were created in such a way as to have the ability to enjoy all of creation! We have our sense of smell, sight, taste, touch, hearing and look at all the ways those senses are delighted by the creation around us! There is an abundance of awe-inspiring delights! We are humans, that is what we were created to be, and that is what we are, and will be....
(Isaiah 45:18) “. . .For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.”
(Psalm 37:9-11, 29) “. . .For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”
29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."
(Matthew 5:5) “. . .“Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth. . .”
(Psalm 72:7-8) “7 In his days the righteous one will sprout, And the abundance of peace until the moon is no more. 8 And he will have subjects from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.”
It sounds to me like the Bible is really teaching that we will inhabit the earth, at least all but a very few who have been bought from the earth to rule as kings and priests with Jesus, and to help him judge...
(Revelation 5:9-10) “. . .And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.””
(Revelation 14:3) “. . .And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth.”
(Revelation 20:4) “. . .And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.. . .”

Excellent Question
I am well aware of all the dogmas of religions and of gnosticism but I am becoming more enamored of the Quantum Physics explorations and the greater emerging concepts such as the suggestion that this world and the Human Body was never designed to just die.
Perhaps heaven is not "a place of real estate somewhere up in the sky" but a state of mind only obtainable while in a body with a brain and an ego that is intent upon growing in knowledge and wisdom into what otherwise is just an unknown.
Most need to lay the body down to sleep to get refreshed, yet some need far less sleep. Perhaps rather than send the spirit within into dreamland for renewal there is a way to live that invigorates you rather than tires you. And perhaps sustained living in that "Way" does actually change the very molecular structure of the body such that it then operates in some way that most of us are still ignorant of.
Immortality is just word and philosophy to most
but since I have been wondering about this stuff it very much intrigues me that during what the Christians call the 'Transfiguration' Moses and Elijah hung out there on the mount with Jesus. So they were still alive and able to go welcome new people also being immortal.
I dont think we really get any prizes after we die that we dont already own while in body but I really do believe that while still in body there is potential for vastly more than what our religions and education systems offer us.
Thing is I think we have to teach ourselves if we really want to make life something other than a journey into becoming wormfood
and I think teaching our self requires more than any other endeavor a human is capable of

Lord have no longer created best Men and Women, Lord has created some thing what you notice a Tree, Plant, Animal, Air, Stone, Human Beings like we, now the query why are we on Earth? Can you reply? Its difficult to think however its real approximately the Re-start Principle, sure as now individuals are comming to grasp approximately Rebirth since few individuals have mentioned and those scan instances have been exploited for all people to think, however that is real considering the fact that lakhs of years, all of us have come from a few or different type, like we have been Air, We have been Stone, We have been Water, We have been animal, now we've obtained the sort of well experience God given to us a person with mind, its as soon as in a existence time we get this, we will have to see that on this interval we will have to make sure we will have to diminish all Sins to acquire last vigour of Moksha.

I've wondered that too. but I searched in the Bible and found the answer. God created the earth to be inhabited and his original purpose was for man to live on earth forever and to be perfect. but when Adam and Eve sinned against God, he kicked them out of the paradise. and therefore we are their inhabitants we have inherited sin and death. but it states in the Bible that a selected, a 144,000 will go to heaven, they are known as the great crowd so not everyone has that hope. but rest assured, there is a hope for us that are going to stay here on earth, soon enough God will bring about a paradise just like the one in Adam and Eve's time except this time Satan the devil will not be there to try and tempt us becuz he will be done away with forever. but until that time we must show that we love Jehovah by doing all we can right now in his service so we can live forever.

I was thinking about this the other day as well as true happiness.
What is true happiness? When is somebody truly happy?
I think it is when all hope is lost, but what you hoped for still comes through.
Is there a happier time than having a loved one on their death bed, and after you've already accepted that they are going to die, they make a full recovery?
I think that is what life on Earth is for, a way to bring about greater joy. We are all afraid of death, I don't care who you are, or what you believe, if you aren't afraid of death, then you are psychotic. If we never had that, then what would be so special about eternal life?
If we had always lived eternally, we would be arrogant, and take everything for granted. I think that preventing this is what Earth is all about.
Another thing to address, there's really no indication that all, most, or even any of us will go to heaven.

We men were created to live longer than 60 or 80 yrs. That is why we don't want to die. We were created with the desire to live forever. But since Adam and Eve sinned, we have become imperfect and how body now deteriorates. That's why the bible says that every soul that sins will die. So cus of Adam and Eve sins, they died and sin was passed on to us and we too are dying.

Scientists have found that actually man should not have to die at all. The body completely renews itself every 7 years. But having inherited sin, we do die. And why are people afraid to die, if they believe that when they die "they are going to a better place"? Why do they try at all costs to keep living?
The truth is that God made man to live forever on the earth, not in heaven. God doesn't need any more angels, he has plenty. God meant for man to have the earth, and enjoy it. He created us out of love on the earth, he did not intend for us to suffer at all. That came from the greedy Satan and Adam and Eve's greed. They all wanted what God has. And the only reason God has not stepped in yet, is because he doesn't want to have to destroy people. He wants them to love him and respect him and his word, The Bible. He wants them to repent and turn away from doing the things Satan wants them to do. If they do that, they have the chance of living forever on a paradise earth. People time is getting short, God is not going to wait forever to step in and take control. Make your choice soon.

Each living thing here on earth is programed to live a certain length of time, on the average. Some insects live only one day. Some great tortoises can live several hundred years. Modern science and medicine has extended the expected life span of humans. But in the end, we all return to nothingness, just as we were before birth. That's very natural, understandable, and desireable.

You are forgetting about the Angelic conflict. The mere reason we are here is to choose. Choose Gods ways over Satan's everyday..... living Christ-like, accumulating spiritual reward in heaven and being a witness to end times for the trial of enormous proportions.

God created man in his own image. Man was supposed to live forever and walk with God! But due to the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, we had that privilege removed form us, among other curses that were laid upon man as a result of Adam and Eve's sin in the garden of Eden. Women were never supposed to experience pain in child birth...now because of what happened, now they do. God had fully intended to provide for Man and Woman all of their days...but due to the sin in the garden, man now has to work by the sweat of his brow in order to eat, live, and survive.
