Much has been written about how religion has caused, or at least contributed to, many wars down through the ages. And I think there is more than enough evidence to support that.

But what about the role religion plays in things such as prejudice, racism, sexism, and intolerance. Can the world ever know true peace as long as this is the case?

What id really like to find out is Do most of you follow your own religious beliefs based on what you have been taught? Or do you learn and grow with your belifes based on your own life experiences?

The reason I ask is because I do believe in God and I know that Jesus died for our sins. But I do not in anyway, shape Or form consider myself religious. I have gained my spiritual insights based on what I have read in the bible, as well as whaat i've seen in my own life time. I have drawn my own conclusions about what is in the bible and I havent been "Taught" how im "suppose" to believe.

From a telephone sampling of more than 2,000 households, university researchers found that Americans rate atheists below Muslims, recent immigrants, gays and lesbians and other minority groups in “sharing their vision of American society.” Atheists are also the minority group most Americans are least willing to allow their children to marry.

Kathe Kollwitz is one of my favourite artists.

Her sympathetic portrayals of motherhood are tinged with great melancholy: she lost her son in the First World War, and her art was a necessary outlet for her pain. Few artists have so lovingly and reverently tied the twin themes of motherhood and death together with such gentle, aching beauty.

As she approached her own death, she grew reflective in her art, as though picturing her death before the event. In doing so, she created some of the most emotional art ever witnessed by mankind.

My favourite piece by her is "Death as an old friend." This sketch shows a dying man greeting death with sheer joy, terrified joy, one might say. The terror at the end of life tempered by the realization that, after all, death is not something of a mystery, but someone we've known all along...an old friend.

What do you think is the guise of death, and how does this fit in with your faith?

Your considerate answers are most appreciated.

I have heard the argument of some westerners who tell us to tolerate some religious Muslims who teach intolerance, supremacy of their religion, and sending all kind of Islamic missionaries, so Islamic population on the rise in western countries, while Christian and non-Muslim missionaries got banned, slaughtered and tortured all over the Islamic countries, without real condemnations and protest from these religious Muslims who living in the west.

Is that right thing to do? tolerating the intolerance? or assimilating the intolerants?

By the way, please don't argue whether there is intolerance or not by some Muslims, I don't mean the secular Muslims, I obviously referring to those religious strict ones who has significant population.

This is just question about whether to tolerate or assimilate, and whether tolerating the intolerance is good, and how you can explain that?

For you information the main idea is that devil didn't obey god to respect the new creation and claimed superiority to human and he is true.

In such society :
The more crimes one commits under supervision the better carrier he can make throughout his life.
One will be taught to lie.
Fraud is considered as inteligence.
Everyone must sin.
Every pride must be boken.
One must trust no one.
The ritual to penalize someone who joins another religeon would be death through slaughtering by another satanist.
But of course you could find some ways to cope and let the others down at the end.

There are many interpretations of divinity, yet the religions that allow for a personalized definition of that divinity are in the minority compared with those religions that set forth a definition of divinity to which one is expected to adhere.

Do you feel that your experience of divinity can translate to another, or is it too personalized to be relevant to anyone but yourself? Is your view consistent with the teachings of your faith/belief system?

Your considerate thoughts are most apreciated.

Did you have a moment that made everything crystal clear for you, regardless of what your belief, be it religious, non-religious, or intellectual? Was there a time that settled for you all of the things you use to define questions of faith and how they pertain to life?

If so, what was the defining moment for you? Do you feel that it was a spiritual awakening or an intellectual resolution? Was it prompted from within; that is to say, on your own volition, or do you feel it was an external communication that brought clarity to you?

Your considerate answers are most appreciated.

Now basically God says do good, and you go heaven, do bad & he will throw you in hell.

Jesus lets people, verbally abuse him, humiliate him, beat him, spit on him, they do bad things etc. And Jesus says he loves them.

God gives life and apparently let Jesus die. Jesus brings the dead alive then dies himself, christains say he is god. However the antichrist will also bring dead people alive. So is the antchrist part of God as well? So what does that mean? Will the trinity have a new entity?

My friend's husband is a minister and he claims somewhere in the bible it says woman are not to wear men's clothing. But as I tried to point out to her, when the bible was written, men wore robes (dresses). I think it's just a male superiority kind of thing, but I could be wrong.
