people argue that israel has a right to exist. israeli state was made in 1948 not too long ago. so before 1948 palestinians occupied it because it was there land. israel comes in 1948, slaughters palestinians, steals there land, calls it israel, and people are wondering why palestinians dont recognize israel as a state.

I don't mean human evolution.
I meant the evolution of species in general. I don't know how you can ignore it when it's happened during the past 200 years. For example the evolution of many dog breeds since the industrial revolution.

So, do you believe that evolution occurs, just not with humans? or that "god" made the species evolve?or do you completely denounce the idea altogether?

Do you laugh at cancer patients? Invite people in wheelchairs to play soccer? Make generalizations about people based on their skin color?

Why is it OK to mock people with developmental disabilities? Join me in educating the WSIDR about people first language. Just cut and paste this link as your answer to his questions. Or google "people first" or "person centered planning" for yourself. I enjoy his questions - but not at the expense of others. Being Mentally retarded does not cancel out an individuals humanity.

Holocaust? There were lots of Gypsies, Blacks, Homosexuals, Soviet POW, mentally retarded people, physically handicapped people, people who helped the Jews and didn't support Hitler, and Catholics who died during WW2 as well. I think it's sad that when the Holocaust arises there's only talk of the "poor Jews". We can't forget about the millions of others who died at the mercy of Hitler and the Nazis. That's wrong and is a cruel way to remember them all.

Here are a few facts BEFORE you answer.. (remember, give substantial reasons, not just opinions like "because I love God." That's so generic and not a reason to base part of your faith on it.)

A Biblical tithe is 10% of certain agricultural products from the land of Israel to be paid by the farmers to the Levites, who in turn tithed to the priests. Wage earners and the poor were exempt from tithing. The poor were allowed to benefit from tithes.

Money and wages are not tithed as money is considered as unrighteous*. Other things not tithed: Unclean animals, beasts of burden, fish, birds, insects, reptiles*. The spoils of battle are not tithed.

All scriptures (including NT) are answerable of "not" being an obligated 10% amount. Tithing was not a NT tenet. Don't forget, the time that Jesus was alive was still "Old Testament". The NT didn't start till AFTER Jesus died and fill the believers with His spirit (Hebrews 9:16,17)

I want to completely change my life and become a more spiritual person.
I've had some bad things happen in life and I really need a way to channel my anger.
I don't believe that my current ways are set in stone and I just don't want to hurt anymore.

Suicide is simply setting in motion events that will knowingly result in your own death.

According to this, Jesus' death WAS suicide.

Isn't this a sin? Why would he HAVE to atone in this maner? How do two wrongs make a right?
