Why do people block others from answering their questions?
P.S. I do have a few that have blocked me from answering their questions who I will not mention by name. Know this, Jesus still loves you even though you are not giving me a chance to.

I have only been blocked by a couple of people. One I could never figure out why. The other I had blocked first because she was stalking me and causing trouble, so she blocked me to "get even", LOL. Anyway, the only reason I would ever block a person is when they follow me from Q to Q and get their report network to try to eliminate me.
EDIT: unfortunately I have recently had to block my Q&A and close my network, I don't like it but the stalker trolls were invading. I'll open it all back up soon.

I've had 4 or 5 people that I know of block me, and I really don't know why because I've never answered their questions and don't remember meeting them in the forum.
I've blocked a couple of them in return, I suppose as a childish attempt to "get back at them." As for blocking someone first, I haven't yet found the need to do that.

Oftimes we tire of the same old religious pat answer to every question. I was blocked once by a very Christian person who did not like my answer. I usually block those Chritian fanatics who are quite vile, threatening, and overbearing in their answers. So far it has only been them who are vile. Though I'd block anyone who was this way .

I don't know if I have ever been blocked. I have never blocked anyone since I don't take any of this on the forum that serious. How do you know if you have been blocked?

I get blocked by a lot of people. I dont even recall ever answering a question the person posted previously so I dont get it either.

As far as I know, I only have one person blocking me, but it probably has to do with that person sending me a condescending e-mail and me replying with an equally condescending e-mail (answering his or her arguments first) that told him or her if he or she wanted to send me e-mail, please make sure it contained something more useful than the typical V!AGARA spam. While I don't mind getting down and dirty in a debate, I much prefer to keep it on an intelligent and respectful level (and am planning on doing so with another person who's a bit less insulting as soon as soon as I can find the time.

Yeah, mostly religious people who interpret my answers as being too harsh. I never block anyone.

Yes, many times. One day it was so bad I could hardly answer any questions. Its very frustrating. Anyway, you know you are getting noticed and making an impact.
