the first one was when he was getting into the shower, he felt something stroke his back and the music on the radio at that time was a song that was played at his sister inlaws funeral,and last nite a shelf fell of the wall for no apparent reason, and he keeps smelling burnt toast. what could all this mean.

Maybe your husband was having an affair with his sister in law and now she is haunting him, why else would she touch him in the shower.

Don't jump to fantastic conclusions! Seriously!! Its tempting to blame this on "ghosts" or other "otherworldly and spiritual" things, but that would be a massive jump to make. Start simple, shelves can fall down for many reasons, like maybe the wall plug wasn't the right size. As for the song that played at his sister in laws funeral, well that song has probably been played before, and it will be played again. The stroking of his back, well it could have been the shower curtain, or if he was getting in the shower, the transition from cold dry air, to hot humid air could explain this. Wait and wait, if he actually see's a ghost, an actual apparation of his sister, or Jesus or whatever, and gets a picture of it for all to see then maybe you should change your beliefs, but as it stands, DON'T PANIC!! Oh yeah, the toast thing, its a sign of brain damage, so even if he does claim to have seen a real ghost, you should just whisk him off to a phychiatric ward pronto, for your sake and the sake of everyone else around him. The water stroked his back in the shower...there were loose screws on the shelf and if he is seriously smelling burnt toast then he needs to visit his doctor immediately.

I've had things give way to gravity and fall for no apparent reason... it's just gravity. ...But while I have had strange spiritual experiences in my own life - the first thing to identify is whether or not there is a physical explanation.
I have a friend that was born with a small fibrous cyst in her brain that causes many different problems. Go to the doctor and request an MRI of the brain to rule out a cyst pressing on memory or sensory centers. That can cause random physical and olfactory sensations.
In the mean time - simply pray for God's guidance, dear one. Let the Holy Spirit show you His love while you both grieve the loss of this dear sister. I pray that God holds you close today and always dear one.

It sounds neurological to me, something like deja vu.
This might be a petit mal.
Best to consult doctor in case it is a warning of worse things.
I used to see an army camp & hear voices I couldn't understand. That was no problem, but one day I went to bed & woke up 3 days later because I had not been given any medication in the first place.

1. You should stop molesting him when he`s naked in the shower.
2. Send him to carpentry lessons so that cupboards and things don`t fall off the wall.
3. Stop burning the toast and keeping quiet about it.

okay smelling burnt toast ...sorry I saw something on Tv and it said that when people say their smelling burnt toast it can be a small seizure in the brain ...sorry don't mean to scare you but thats what I saw ...Just ask his doctor but told tell the doctor about the other part ...
Could be paranormal as well ...who knows

That burn toast thing is a sign that brain surgeons use to determine if you're having a seizure so I'd suggest a CAT scan.
