I have tried it, thanks. It would take a doctrine that includes acceptance of all others, not just Christians, and a God that doesn't burn people in hell, people who don't think they are God's only chosen people, and include a rule where people must have respect for all other people.

I can't believe you people, trying to sell your religion like that. That's just low. Why would you even want someone to accept your religion for a reason so shallow?

It would take NOTHING. I have "tried" various religions, and Christianity provided me with just about zero true spiritual experience. Now I see the reason why. If that's the way you try to spread your religion, that is how you suck all spirituality right out of it.

If you had faith in your own religion, then you would not have to try to convert others. You would simply trust that others would come to your religion on their own.

It would take the whole of the rest of Christianity committing apostasy and believing in the Great Seytnurr : The Iron Badger instead.

No....there are churches around here that offer plenty if you'll just show up. The one down the street provides meals...breakfast for the morning service and pizza for the evening.

It's going to take a new car (preferably a Ferrari) to get me to try it (again.)

All it takes is a little evidence that shows some logical reason for considering a belief in gods.

And I've tried it. Thanks, though.

I would die before "becoming" a Christian... as so many of my forebearers did. There is nothing and no one that would make me do that- yuck
