Christians were never told to tolerate anyone. If we just tolerated everybodys beliefs, how would we reach anyone?

Just my question, does anyone else see my problem with the whole tolerance issue?

It isn't worth having in my opinion if I have to conform to a specific set of ideals that I honestly do not have the ability to believe, just in order to avoid burning in hell for eternity.

Why did god give me free will if he knew I was going to end up going to hell anyway, i would rather have never existed than go to Hell, So why did god do me this terrible disfavor of creating me? He is all knowing right? So of course he knew i was destined to be an atheist and destined to be in Hell.

Yesterday I asked a question that insinuated that people should be compassionate, nonjudgmental, and loving toward one another. I pointed out that the Bible said that God is love; that we are to love God; and that we are to love people even if they hate us. I said do not Judge others even as Christ told us from his own mouth, if we are to believe the scriptures.

The answers came back very positive for the most part but with one being very abrasive. I was called a liar.
To prove my point I quoted scriptures.

1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

After all this I was told that I worked for Satan.

This morning I received a violation notice for my question and it was deleted.
WOOT!
Thank God I’m on the right track!
The message of love from God must be getting through.

I have read that in there somewhere. This is condemning a cult belief.

Jesus told us to baptize in the Name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit (Matthew). Mary isn't the Creator or part of the trinity. Mary is the part of Jesus humanity. Jesus is the 'Seed of the Women' in Genesis3:15. is the Word that came to earth as a human anointed of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the 'womens seed' conceived of the Holy Spirit. He overcame temptation & death for us. An example for us.

God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit Is the Creator. And these three are one. 1Jn5.

Mohamad condemn the false belief that God was Father, Mary & Jesus; didn't he?

Exo. 20:4--Prohibition against making any graven images: "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth."

Num. 21:8--Moses told to make a brass snake image: And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Exo.25--contains detailed instructions on building an ark in which to keep various sacred items. The instructions include graven images of cherubim, which are likenesses of things living "in heaven above."

1 Ki.10:19--Solomon's throne: There were six steps to the throne and a round top to the throne at its rear, and arms on each side of the seat, and two lions standing beside the arms.

Everyone knows that Christians (in general) believe that homosexuality is a sin. After all it is in the bible! (Lev 18:22) But what about verses like Deuteronomy 23:1 (ESV)

"No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the Lord."
Why do most christians claim that bible verses like this are "outdated", "and written for another time period" but still hold strong to the "Homosexuality is a Sin" verse?

In Indian philosophy we mostly come across "soul" and "spirit" I mean "Manas" and "Atma" in Sanskrit. How the two terms be analyzed and differentiated from each other? As far as I understand they don't have any physical form, how then these two concepts be found in the physical body. Even in metaphysical point of view 'in the law of correspondence' we still see these two words very frequently. Answer please!

Such as, a forum for the atheists, and a forum for the israelits, and a forum for the- you get my point right?

so do you think we should all stay in the same forum, or should we be separated?

do you prefer being lumped in with all the other "religious" people or do you prefer to go hang out with other people who all believe the same thing?

would you rather have your faith questioned, or would you rather discuss you faith with people of similar beliefe?

so, would you prefer together? or seperate?

This is a serious question, I want everybody's answer.
