A good home is always better than an orphanage where there is very little individualized attention for the children. My daughter is gay and has raised her son very well. She is a very good mother and he is a very well balanced young man of 17. Sexual orinentation has nothing to do with parenting skills or the capacity to love a child.

TO ANYONE WHO SAYS ORPHANAGE:
Go adopt those kids your damn self! You are ridiculously out of touch with reality. If you think orphanages, state & foster care are good places for children, you are sadly misinformed.
Go ask any kid who has experienced both an orphanage and a loving gay family which they prefered.
Go ask any kid who grew up in an abusive household with two hetero parents if they'd prefer to have lived in a non-abusive, loving gay parents.
When you all pray today, you better thank God you did not grow up in an orphanage/state care.

I'd prefer to let a gay couple adopt them. Homosexuals can be as good parents are straight people and it will be much better for the children to have a family rather than grow up in an orphanage.

I've seen this question a couple of times, and it still astounds me that anyone would ask. Let the couple adopt the child and have a loving family.
There is absolutely no statistical evidence that there is any danger, harm, or negative consequences to a homosexual couple adopting or having a child. An individual's sexuality does not limit their capacity to provide a loving or stable home.

I truly can't get over Primoa's answer. How sad.
There's absolutely no reason in this world why gays shouldn't be able to adopt and raise children. Why deny a child a chance at having a family and home based upon the parent's sexual orientation only? That's pathetic.
Anyone who is capable of raising a child should be allowed to do so.

While many try to say Gay is a normal life, it don't think it is, to constantly have pain in the rear is sad, i would rather the kid be in a orphanage then to be exposed to sin, and a life of defying Gods standard. I really don't think its healthy, I don't care what the experts think

People whom would rather leave the child in an orphanage have no heart and shouldn't be allowed to have children.

Depends, are they gays moral people? If their hearts are in the right place, then I totally would back them up. Children need love, not just a roof over their heads.
Add> Yes, I would.

Love, human touch, and caring are the most important things for a child.
Anyone who says "orphanage" is either cruel, or so blinded by their own dogma that they can't even consider the well-being of a child first.

Let the gays raise the kid. It's always better for a kid to have any kind of family, than none.
