Yesterday I asked a question that insinuated that people should be compassionate, nonjudgmental, and loving toward one another. I pointed out that the Bible said that God is love; that we are to love God; and that we are to love people even if they hate us. I said do not Judge others even as Christ told us from his own mouth, if we are to believe the scriptures.

The answers came back very positive for the most part but with one being very abrasive. I was called a liar.
To prove my point I quoted scriptures.

1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

After all this I was told that I worked for Satan.

This morning I received a violation notice for my question and it was deleted.
WOOT!
Thank God I’m on the right track!
The message of love from God must be getting through.

For my insignificant message to be deleted is a blessing.
I’ll not stop spreading love while I still breath.

So again I ask how should a pacifist non-drinking Spartan Gnostic celebrate?
(Gnostics are Christian Mystics persecuted for the message of Christ)

This has also been happening to compassionate post from many other people lately particularly those from the Pagan faiths.
It’s as if the messages of love and peace constitute hate speech in the eyes of the people that report us, and system that supports their protest by issuing violations and deleting our questions and answers.

Boar's Heart
The non-drinking is a personal choice because I hate the taste but my friend on the phone is offering to bring over some Absinth that I "Simply have to try mixed in sweet lemonade" she almost has me convinced.

I can feel the glow of the Holy Spirit about you even across the internet. I bear him no ill will and have no intention of judging him or anyone else. Your statement means the most to me. Thank you for being.. (God has special things for you)

You deserve, no require, an answer.
You are free to choose what you wish.
I tell people that God is love, and I believe in love.
Do you mean that I am a liar for believing in love?
Love is my proof of God.
Love is the force of miracles.
Love encourages and inspires.
Love feeds the starving by inspiring man to give.
Love keeps families together despite their problems.
Love makes a person hopeful and alive.
How is Love not God?
How can I prove Love?

Gnostic, you have a good attitude about it all. At least YOPU are taking the high road and actually following the ways of a wise and just being (jesus). I've never had a problem knowing and understanding him and his message. tghe only problem that i ever had with Christianity is the narrowminded opinionated veiws of SOME of his followers. THOSE are the very people that helped me make my decision to come to Goddess as SHE is totallly accepting and her followers offer unconditional love for EVERYONE, especially non-believers.Kepp up the good work, Christianity needs more followers like you and less of the other kind.

Brightest Blessings,

This is a hoot... You've claimed to be a poor persecuted messenger of god -- God -- the something that isn't a something at all.

FYI... nobody is persecuting you or any other believer of nonsense. What you are calling persecution is merely asking you to see the errors of your thinking. You are called out as a liar because you are speaking untruth... you are called delusional because you are claiming delusional thoughts, feelings, voices and visions, as if they are real. There is nothing in these "accusations" that is intended as unfounded persecution but rather such statements are built on factual observation of your behavior.

If you claim that your god is real you are obligated to show clear proof that it is so.... You cannot and nobody can - that's been said time and again; therefore, you speak lies and suppositions as if they were facts - putting it simply, you lie when you claim god is real.

Can you not see a clear difference between persecution and challenge? I can....

Let me add that I do not agree with the practice of some people to censor questions and answers by claiming abuse of standards where none exist... I'm sorry that happened to you. I've been subject to the same unfairness and I understand.

Wear your violation notices as badges. It was a strange weekend. Some of the answer that I thought would be reported went unscathed. Others that were more uplifting and calling for tolerance on all part are now gone into nothingness.

Gnostic, I was looking for your question this morning. When I couldn't find it I was afraid that it had been deleted.

For the record, I thought your question was fine and your responses were on target. I didn't see you putting anyone done but responding in a difficult situation with a reminder of Christian love.

I'm disappointed in my brother if he reported the violation. His behavior was out of line. Sometimes when we can't win with words we strike out in anger. I'm sorry.

I think you must've hit a nerve. Maybe that is the question/answer that may help one person. Somebody may know the truth, but chooses to ignore & that hits their guilt button. You must be doing something right! All you can do is plant the seed. They must choose whether to let it grow!
(I have never heard of Gnosticism before, thanks for the info!)

There is very little rhyme or reason to what happens here. The interesting thing about what you described is that during Jesus ministry on earth, the only people He ever had harsh words for were the self-righteous hypocritical believers of His day. Coincidence? I think not.

Bright Blessings to you and your mission of spreading love.

I agree we should show compassion, empathy, respect and love towards all humanity regardless. We are all part of the same essence. We are all part of humanity which comes from The Creator.

I am with you in spreading your message. I am beside you on your mission.

Weirdly enough, I haven't had ANY violation notices, and I haven't exactly been quiet about my beliefs...

Maybe I need to think up a really abrasive question or two...

Do you have any ideas for Pagan Friday questions?

Actually, things can get deleted without proper cause. You can report it to answers in the forum. And they will reinstate your points, in essence undoing the delete.

I get things deleted all the time. Mostly things against abortion, against hating children, or selfish people.

Its the state of the world I guess.
