I would leave the child, assuming it's not mine since I'd never leave my own, with whomever is compassionate, wise and altruistic, won't cause them real harm and suffering and will raise the child up to be the same, no matter whether they're Muslim, or any other religion.

I would prefer the child to go to a home that would care for and allow a child to ask questions instead of telling them what they should believe.
