God either wants to eliminate bad things and cannot, or can but does not want to, or neither wishes to nor can, or both wants to and can.
If he wants to and cannot, he is weak -- and this does not apply to God.
If he can but does not want to, then he is spiteful -- which is equally foreign to God's nature.
If he neither wants to nor can, he is both weak and spiteful and so not a god.
If he wants to and can, which is the only thing fitting for a god, where then do bad things come from? Or why does he not eliminate them? - Epicurean paradox

Do you find his words hypocritical? Do you think he is really corrupt? Is one of the most boring Pope's ever? He doesn't do anything that is attention worthy. Do you find anyhting else that is good or wrong or bad or ugly about the man I used to call the Leader of my Faith? Just curious, serious answers from REAL Catholics please.

P.S. F.Y.I I am a former Catholic so don't feed me the "You don't know what goes on in the RCC" I have been to the Vatican and I have seen both Popes in person. Nothing to be amazed at.

Just out of curiosity, at what point did your path lead to your belief in many deities? Was it a precursor to a religious change? Or have you believed it your whole life?

We see every day great numbers of Muslim on Muslim violence, and perverted Muslim thinking in all walks of life in all countries. This has been going on for such a long time and involving so many muslims but yet they maintain that only a small minority are screwed up. The western politicians also in being politicaly right join the chorus!

Well, not technically immortality, but a non-dying state within a giving life span(i prefer to call it amortality). If god predestined or foresaw our death, therefore we, are obligated to fulfill that future, therefore we are immune to any death prior to our predestined death....unless god is not omniscient or there is no parallel universes or somebody was lying about predestination/god.

For ex. If god foresaw/predestined Pope John Paul II's death at April 2, 2005, therefore Pope John Paul II was immortal from the date of his birth to the last moment before his death. well, I don't necessarily mean immortal, but rather, a schedule of our mortality.

Any thoughts?

Hello Dearest Friend,

My name is Mr. Billy F. Thorne Barrister and tomorrow is my half-Birthday. Normally my celebration entails visiting the local museum, reading literature, or attending the local cinema. My colleagues have recommended that I attend the local bar and drink the night away but instead I have decided to Mormonize my lifestyle and decided to join the Latter Day Saints. Should I certify my distaste for alcohol by joining this most religious group?

May I wish to you many Terrestrial wishes to you and yours?

Thank you for your prayers,

Mr. Billy F. Thorne Barrister

According to the CIA world fact book, only 2.36% of the world is Atheist WAY(WAY!!!!) below 1 billion!

Take 6.5 billion as the world population, 2.36% is only 153,400,000 people....a little less than 1 billion, don't you think?

This just gives more proof to me, no offense to the intelligent, that some people have NO clue what they're talking about, even if they claim to be free thinking and logical...
