I believe the bible is true, and the basis of all truth, but I think it may not be complete in it's knowledge of all subjects, or else what need would there be of the Holy Spirit? Any further truth should then be reflected by the bible, and will not conflict with it's spirit. This is MY opinion.
As far as going to hell is concerned if you reject the bible as a whole there is probably only a mental acceptance of it's truth, as you understand it, but probably not a heartfelt faith based acceptance of Jesus' sacrifice. If you have doubts about certain parts of the bible, that is normal and you should study and pray for Gods wisdom to understand the contents of Gods word to get a revelation of it, and that comes from experience! May God bless you.

I wouldn't say that you'll go to hell, but if you truly have faith, , and considering that Jesus, Himself, quoted from the Holy Scriptures quite often when He spoke.. well, if you don't believe in the Bible as God's inspired Word, where do you get the basis for your faith?

Faith in God and belief in Jesus dying for your sins is what you learn from the Bible. It seems that the question is contradictory. If you object to certain parts of the Bible, post another question and it can be discussed.

It is inconsistent to not have faith in the Bible, and believe in Jesus. To avoid Hell, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Basic tenet of Christianity--believing in Jesus as the Son of God and accepting the gift of salvation through forgiveness.

Believing any other part of the Bible to be inaccurate may be a sin, but it is a forgivable one.

you have to have faith in the bible, if you dont read your bible youll know nothing about jesus christ, since christ is not here in physical with us , he sent the good news through the bible to reach us, through the bible faith is revived, you read stories of people , who didnt have an ounce of belief and all of a sudden their lives are changed, give it a shot

How can you beleive in God and that Jesus died for you sin and not beleive in the Bible?
The Bible is the WORD OF GOD!
How could you not beleive in it, and beleive in God and Jesus?
I don't understand that question.

the Bible isn't part of the Trinity, is it?

you are elevating the Bible to a level of something to be worshiped.

the Bible is a book - it isn't to be worshiped.
