Not me. Not now anyhow. Who knows if someday I won't feel that way? Sometimes I think that nature provides us with a gentle easing feeling into the notion of dying so that when our physical bodies are wearing down, our life forces are also getting ready to ease down and out.

But not now, I have too much laundry and gardening to do, and someone has to take out the recycling, and do we have any coke and who ate the last of the ice cream?????

I'm not done.

I am. Everything must end, or else where's the value in it? How can we truly appreciate something we will always have? I can only hope that I will be content about what happened BEFORE that last breath.

I'm content with the fact it's going to happen. It's the time that I cannot control is what I am not content with. Maybe it's a guy thing or controling issue. I'd just like to know when.

We all have a destiny that was placed before us from the time of our conception. That destiny covered our birth, and subsequently death. Some people choose to live their lives as though there's nothing to live for; nothing in this life or the afterlife. Some people live solely for this life, without concern or belief in an afterlife at all.

Then, there are those of us who realize the gift that is this life. Not just in of itself, but in the promise of the afterlife that has been held for us. We live this life to it's utmost knowing that it must end, that our purpose is to make it as good a life as we can. However, when our time comes, we look forward to more than this mortal coil. After all, death is nothing more than a lifelong process.

You know drawing our last breath is inevitable. It will happen but when it happens only God knows. Am I content to know that I am going to die one day? Yes! I know I am going to heaven to be with my Lord when I die, and someday I will see my husband and kids there when we all die. Do I like the idea of leaving my kids or husband behind? Not in the least, but I also know where thier faith lies and that they will make it through. I am more concerned for my family left behind than having any concerns for myself when I die.

Me Me Me!
I know the moment after my body draws its last breath,
then my spirit will be set free to realize my REAL destiny!
Our time here in our flesh bodies is training grounds
for what comes later, that is, eternity!
Eternally young, healthy, vibrant, beautiful, and very much
ALIVE, in ways we can never be while our spirit dwells
inside the body of flesh. Face it, no matter how much we
exercise it, clean it, put makeup on it, have plastic surgery,
this body is going to die! But
it's exciting if you know Jesus that your greatest life is waiting to start the moment you leave this body, and it will be forever!

what's not to be content about?

give me an alternative. One will be good.

My only issue is WHEN. I don't want it to be today, or tomorrow. I'm going to live until I'm 105, an active life, and then I'll just drop dead, whamo, dead. so I've got 48 years left.

Oh, when you come up with the alternative just post it above. I'm willing to share it with everyone.

Cheers

I'm not ready to lay down and die. I'm not content knowing this, but I have resigned myself to the fact that it will happen sometime down the road. At least I can be glad that I suffer from no terminal disease or something.

That's life. C'est la vie!

When I do draw my last physical breath, I hope to have a smile on my face that living life was GOOD.
