If there is predestination, then there is no chance for evil, because you already have a path set out for you, can someone ever REALLY be good or evil if they already have the path set for them? For the dumber ones who don't know...answers' no, it doesn't alow free will. Which is what predestination destroys.

I understand exactly what you mean. If it was foreseen and was indeed fact, then I do suppose this person is indeed "immortal" until that date. They could do whatever they want without fear of dying until that date, but have much reason to fear and go crazy as that date draws near. Even if someone was old their predestined death date, then that would motivate a few people to try and disprove it and commit suicide or something before the alleged death date, therefore no one can ever actually be told their death date as a fact. It can only be estimated. The same thing can happen when it comes to foreseeing the future. Nice question.

Immortality is never to experience Death, therefore your point is Moot.
Predestination is Not Biblical either. For instance, Jesus said that God will “give good things to those asking him” and that the person who “has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.” Similarly, when Jerusalem’s inhabitants ignored the warnings that would have saved their lives, Jesus did not blame their reaction on fate. Instead, he said: “You people did not want it.”—Matthew 7:7-11; 23:37, 38; 24:13.
We can also discern Jesus’ outlook by what he noted concerning a deadly accident that took place in Jerusalem, saying: “Those eighteen upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, thereby killing them, do you imagine that they were proved greater debtors than all other men inhabiting Jerusalem? No, indeed, I tell you.” (Luke 13:4, 5) Note that Jesus did not ascribe the death of those 18 men to fate, nor did he say they died because of their being more wicked than others.
Jesus’ apostles likewise taught that salvation is an option attainable to all. The apostle Paul wrote: “You have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation.” And the apostle Peter said: “As newborn infants, form a longing for the unadulterated milk belonging to the word, that through it you may grow to salvation.” (2Â Timothy 3:15; 1Â Peter 2:2)

I don't believe in predestination, but if I did I would probably see it as a movie. God's already seen the movie, but the characters on the screen don't know that. I don't know if I would call it immortality... merely an impossibility. If you were meant to die tomorrow then you wouldn't die today simply because everything (not just you, but every other factor in the universe) would have already been set in stone.
So it's not a question of immortality, simply of impossibility. It's impossible to die right now if you were supposed to die tomorrow simply because the factors wouldn't be in place (i.e. the car that's supposed to hit you).

The only thoughts that come to mind after reading this is "mental masturbation"
lol
I am not sure if i believe in predestination, due to the fact of choice, or the ability to make choices....However, God is Everything or God is Nothing....and God is omnipotent...so...hell, now I've entered into the realm of mental masturbation myself!
Good Question...would have been better 5 yrs ago when i was still doin the ganja thing!
blessings to you and yours!

You might have immortality until the day God predestined you to die, but you don't know when that day is going to be, so it's really no use to you to know you are immortal. You could be in a car accident tonight, and if it wasn't your day to die, you might have to lay in bed until the day you were supposed to die. But if it is your day to die, you will die right away. But you won't know until it's too late. God knows, you don't. This knowledge does you no good. If you live a dangerous life, on the assumption you are immortal, then God may have planned a short life for you.

You are correct, although I feel that your wording could be better.
Assuming that our lives our predestined, and that God knows the precise time of our death, then there is no possible way for us to die before the moment foreseen by God.
This is, in a sense, "temporary immortality".
Interesting, but practically useless.

Because God is all knowing, Predestination exists.
Destiny can change with free will but yet God would know of the change in destiny because of being all knowing. There is no time in Heaven. All is simultaneous, predestined.

Your presumptions are correct. God is sovereign and has planned out our lives start to finish. Nothing happens outside of God's plan for our lives, including where we will spend eternity, after death on this earth.

Your individual life is not predestined. Salvation of mankind through Christ was predestined.
