Okay...please don't be rude to me, but I was just wondering do athiests have the same morals christians do? I mean do you believe in not cussing, committing adultery, and stealing or do you just do whatever you please because you belive you only live once?

I am puzzled as to why atheists can't see the Truth. This is a very personal issue to me because I have a family member who is an atheist.

I know that the only to get into Heaven is to be a Christian. The Bible clearly states that the only way into Heaven is through Jesus. It is the only way to avoid Hell as no unclean thing can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You need Jesus in your life in order to be forgiven for your sins.

I know there isn't any scientific evidence for it, but guess what? Jesus lived two thousand years ago, so of course there isn't any concrete evidence for what he did. How could there be? There were no video cameras or photographs back then, so OF COURSE all you have now is hearsay.

Pick up the Bible and see how it can change your life. You are born with sin and the only way to avoid being punished for this is through Jesus. Don't be full of pride. God Bless.

I live in a very small community, and the churches all got together and brought some guy in to teach evolution to us, this guy did not believe in God and was set out to prove us wrong, he came in and put both evolution and creation side by side, and tried hard to prove us wrong, didnt do it though, he was very upset when he left. I wish most churches would do that, dont you?

The reason I ask this question is I see some ladies wearing head scarfs at Mass (Church) I really would like to know the reason & meaning be hide why they choose to wear head scarfs. but I am too shy to ask them about it.

Can’t the whole subject be narrowed down to just one phrase; God done it? If it teaches our children to read the bible to find the answers about the mysteries of the universe, then isn’t this subject already covered at Sunday school?

you can be a mafia boss, drug smuggler, rapist. but while being all that you can still wear that cross around your neck, and after you retired from all that evil stuff. go to church and ask the priest to forgive you, he'll forgive you as long as you accept christ as your Saviour and you are officially REBORN a christian. all those people you put in the grave, all those woman you raped, all those families you hurt are put behind. by just saying, i accept jesus in my heart.

i need to know why jesus can turn water into wine, but we cant drink..........

I mean really, the only proof that you have that what it says is true is that it says it's true. If I wrote a book and said that God told me that 10,000 years ago the world was ruled by magical unicorns? No, you probably say that I was lying and had no proof. So then, why do you believe that the Bible is the truth even though the only proof that it's right is that it says it's right.

Even Christians admitt that the gospels say he was born while sheepherds were keeping their sheep; that would make his birthday spring or fall. The most likely time is October.

Jesus could not have been born anywhere near winter solstice, and the Feast of Saint Nicholas is in early December.

This is not intended to be malicious or provocative so please forgive me if it is recieved in this way.
If there is no purpose in life, if there is no God who gave us life and if there is no afterlife then why go through with one more day of waking up early or working at a job you hate? It is true that you wont be able to experience the joys of life but you will still have to put up with the severe challenges of life, and much of life is challenging and painfull. When you are dead, you feel and experience nothing. Isn't death more attractive than life and isn't suicide an honorable and logical action??

Who do you think created man, animals etc. It had to start somewhere. The earth was without void so someone had to start life on this earth and it had to be someone with some super natural power. Things didn't just materialize by itself. God has made it all possible.

I have had several christians say to me lately when discussing the historical acuracy of the bible stories

"WE know it isn't historically true but it is religiously true?

What does this mean? Something is true or not true, there is no real grey area?
