put ATM machines in the lobby?
Any thoughts pro or con from Christians who attend these churches?

I'm not kidding. It's true. Some churches have started doing that. And it may catch on.

Okay, I hope you're kidding with this question, because I have never heard of such a thing. If it is true, I would like to know what churches have stooped so low?
As for what I think of this, the passage about Jesus driving out the moneychangers in the temple comes to mind. That is just unconscionable to me.

It's not a big deal. Some people just don't carry cash or checkbooks anymore. If it's ok at the gas station pump, post office, McDonalds, univeristy bookstore, doctor's office, and everwhere else in the world, why not the church lobby?
We still pay by check, but 50 years from now, checkbooks will be obsolete.

Well it would save money...I mean why run to the bank, wasting gas, to withdraw some money when you can just get some at the church?

Are you serious? And people still attend these churches and don't realize that it's just a money-making operation... Well, If they can't pull their head out of the sand about religion, what makes you think they can about this?

yikes!!!!! is that really happening??????? i may feel differently later but right now...i'm shocked to hear this! people know when they are coming to church that thy need to stop for money first.

it would be kinda neat to watch Christ flip one of those babies across the lobby...no, our church does not have them, would never have them-no bookstore or gift shop, either
