Can’t the whole subject be narrowed down to just one phrase; God done it? If it teaches our children to read the bible to find the answers about the mysteries of the universe, then isn’t this subject already covered at Sunday school?

The problem with Creationism is that everybody has their own idea of what it means.

Atheists think it is the belief that there is no such thing as any evolution. Some Christians agree.

Some moderates think that it means that God did it and there may be some evolution involved.

Others think that it just means that God made evolution.

So, I really hate the terms "Evolutionist" and "Creationist." People just use them to label others and build fences.

Actually, it depends. Some Creationists teach that God made the Earth exactly as the Bible says he did. Others, however, say that he used the theory of evolution to create the world, and the Genesis story shouldn't be taken literally.

Creationism begins with a conclusion. It then collects arguments to support the conclusion or to detract from opposing conclusions. Conclusions are not tested experimentally. The method, known as apologetics, is a form of rationalizing which was employed extensively by the Catholic church to support doctrine especially before Vatican II. Rejecting accepted dogma is heresy, which is punished by excommunication. Apologetics do not improve understanding of the natural world. Since they discourage experiment and are immune to change, they are antiscientific.

Will you permit me come into your church and instruct evolution? this is the element - the religiously non secular are patently contemptuous of technology and reason. "The bible says it, i think it, that settles it" is the quantity of your inquiries into the mysteries of existence. in actuality, it is not even an inquiry - it incredibly is a announcement designed to absolve one's self from any variety of self sustaining concept. yet this is the place it gets incredibly thrilling - the religiously non secular are no longer basically contemptuous of technology ... they are contemptuous of their very own god(s)! God is all understanding and all-powerful top? isn't that what all religions instruct? So if god is all the flaws that religions say he's, then would not if stick to that god would unavoidably be a rational, logical entity? God does no longer do something basically for the heck of it top? Then why does the Bible, Torah, Koran and the different "holy" e book SIMPLIFY god into this great guy interior the sky? And why is god constantly a "he"? Does that recommend that god has a sexual gender? For god's sake (actually), open your ideas. If god exists, "he" would not decide for you dropping it sluggish with blind devotion, yet somewhat, doing all your in basic terms right to make the worldwide a greater useful place to stay. And all this communicate approximately "equivalent time" for various viewpoints is a bent argument. could we enable white supremists to instruct that the Holocaust did no longer take place? could we enable the Hare Krishnas to come back in to the colleges and instruct that the worldwide revolves in the back of a great turtle? No we could constantly no longer. Why? because of the fact it incredibly is frequently understood that historic previous and technology have distinctive, greater exacting standards than non secular faith. it is likewise regularly understood that bringing non secular faith into public colleges is inherently discriminatory and opens the door for government-backed faith.

That is apt. The problem is that science shows that it isn't true. Furthermore, as a theory, creationism is useless, because it can't predict anything.
