the answers im getting here are basically saying what i asked. its clear that i said, 'for christians to be forgiven all they have to do is accept jesus in thier hearts and blah blah' answers like 'EverMom's Garden' 'wanzanna' 'Steve N' 'batgirl2good' just say you have to mean it. i mean please, for those that watched scarface, if tony montana accepted jesus in his heart (sincerely) he would be in heaven. c'mon people open your eyes, when you kill even 1 person, theres no coming back from that. you have to face that sin when you're DEAD. god judges you when you dead, your amount of sins compared to the amount of good deeds is the stuff that will or wont let you enter heaven. dont give me that 'if you sincerely accept jesus in your heart'

i seen all the answers and all of them are sayin 1 thang. if you mean it then u forgivin..please, if i kill u 2day and i 'sincerely' apologize to the lord, how about that persons family? loved ones? that lost somethin special? ok maybe im forgivin but what happens to them? life goes on right? its silly people think like this, if you watched prison break youll see murderers never change (john abruzzi) he died with that cross in his hand coz he 'changed' but he still wanted to set the record straight (by killing someone) so really that born again crap is just useless..god judges you when youre dead.

Well, it is your heart that you are cheating, You will be forgiven by the Lord by seeing your sincerity and not by just saying "I accept Jesus in my heart". If you just say those words, you are just a kind of show off who wanna sees in the public that you have changed when you are exactly not.

The Bible says: So you will be saved, if you honestly say, Jesus is Lord, and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this. (Romans 10:9-10)

Lord God, has the biggest heart that He loves every child as long as they remain righteous, althogh they have sinned,Lord knows who has the true heart seeking forgiveness. If anyone who was baptized and says that they are born agains, they have a duty to show that they are really the sons of God and they have died from sins.

But if they continued to sinned John 5:14 says - Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." God knows how to punished them. Just as a father that knows how to trained his children.

Being a born again christian is not a simple task, christians must live in righteousness and what God wants them to be, not all christians can do it. That's why they are tested to different temptations so the Lord may now who is the real Christian for those who are tested.

also read this in the bible: "Not all those who say that I am their Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. The only people who will enter the kingdom of heaven are those who do what my Father in heaven wants.

These kinds of people, when they are reborn, do not stay that way.( Priests cannot forgive only Jesus can). And Jesus would want people to confess any crimes to the authorities.
By accepting Jesus into one's heart, a person turns from their crimes and other sins. They also try to make amends by being honest about them and taking the secular consequences and beginning a new life.

to be "re born" or "born again" means to repent and turn away from your sin and renew your mind by the word of God.

if you wear a cross and have no intention of repenting thinking: after I kill rape lie , what ever i'll ask for forgiveness, then you are NOT re-born, but looking for a loophole.
Hebrews says : if we neglect such a great faith, how shall we escape punishment.
and God knows who repents and who is a player, your fruits bear wittiness.
and I have seen PPL who after a long life of sin get saved , but they are still paying here on earth for there sins like: jail time or aids or hepatitis's (from drugs) etc.

I am an atheist but this I do know from my school days. Even if the priest accepts you, God will not, unless you really and sincerely repent and regret your past actions. I think this is a noble concept. There are plenty of horrors to criticize, not this.

People who have done bad things in the PAST can become christian and be saved, but when they decide to take Jesus into their life and their heart, the old self passes away and they are "reborn" not to do ,or have the desire to do, the things they once did. They will have truly repented and feel a deep sorrow for the evil they did.

Yes it is true! Even Hitler could go to heaven IF he truly repented and felt genuine sorrow for what he did. Jesus' death, burial and Resurrection were to cover EVERYONE of ALL sins, even murder!

That is not the way it works. Only God can do the saving, only he will judge. You can not just say a few words and it is done, there is a circumcision of the spirit that must take place. Your spirit must be regenerated and given a new life. You will know in your heart when this takes place and you are forgiven.

i think we are made via God in his image. We want love and relatives, so does God, so he has a fashion of bringing many little teenagers to glory! That way is in the process the sacrificial dying of the suited Jesus Christ for our sin so we are able to receibve His Spirit, popular as being "born returned" and evidenced via an unlearned prayer language, "talking in tongues". A muslim guy in Australia have been given caught up in crime, onbly had the bible to study in penitentiary and began believing, made christian pals yet nonetheless did drugs and over-dosed. Wardens pronounced he died yet human beings prayed for him and God raised him up. He reasoned that if God could improve up him, a sinner, he would improve up Jesus Christ! in case you couls take a flight to a rustic the place we meet we can in basic terms tutor you the recent existence you have heard approximately, then you certainly may additionally make a greater cautioned selection. .

It’s not about what you say, it’s about what you truly feel in your heart. If you did all that stuff and you truly repented, you would be overwhelmed with remorse for all the wrongs. You would want to spend every remaining second of your life in service of Christ.

If somebody did all those terrible things to somebody I loved, I would want them to repent. That is the only way they would ever understand the pan they caused and turn away from that life.

If you really believed in Christ, you would not do all of those things.

If you came to be a Christian later, God can forgive any sins.

NOBODY is without a sin, so really, NOBODY deserves to be in heaven.
