No. I think the problem that quite a few people have is a lack of understanding about Biblical "repentance." The word "repentance" in the Bible means "a turn around." Making a U-turn is a good example of repentance. The Bible clearly teaches that repentance is necessary for salvation. So don't think that Christians have a license to sin; on the contrary, they will be held more accountable to God if they are sinning in the knowledge of the truth.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Heb. 10:26-27
I wouldn't push God bro. Grace isn't a license to sin. There is a difference between stumbling and diving into sin. If you are truly saved by Grace then why would you want to continue sinning?
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. 2 Cor. 13:5

Romans 6:15 - What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Romans 6:18 - Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

We all have the free will to do what we want. But to continue to sin after coming to the knowledge of the truth is like nailing Jesus back on the cross. Read the Book of Romans written by the apostle Paul. A beautiful book in which he addresses this.

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
Romans 6: 1-2
Every human being can do whatever they want, wherther saved or not...this is called freewill. When you accept Jesus as your Savior, you also accept him as your Lord...which means you allow Him to control your life, while trusting that His way is the right way. So, as I stated before, every man can do what he pleases, but every action comes with a consequence and God takes even more offense when people who call themselves His children continue to live in the ways of the world. Why? Because in being dead to sin and alive to Christ, we should strive to live like Christ, not like our old selves.

Yes but you would also be held accountable and obtain the punishment that comes along with doing whatever you wanted to do...but at the same time, you cannot be a repeat offender of the same sin and keep asking for forgiveness, if you will keep doing the same things. Whats the point?

You are saved when you believe in the Lord God with all your heart and soul and believe that Jesus Christ is your savior and that he died for you sins.
If you are truly saved then you will not do as you wish but will follow the will of God.

This is a gross misconception, for it doesn't work that way. The saving grace is that you are capable of a full surrender, not a magic spell hiding sin.

No, you have to really love God and believe in Jesus. You can't just say you do so that you have permission to sin over and over, to treat people like dirt, to lie, kill,, cheat, and steal, and to have sex with anyone and everyone whom you lust after.
That's not how it works.
You actually have to TRY to be a good person.

You're not saved unless you accept Jesus as Savior. Once you do that, then yes, technically you can do whatever you want, and you'll still be forgiven. *However*, a true Christian won't *want* to do whatever he wants to do. Instead, he'll want to follow Christ's example and do what God wants.
