Nothing, really. Anyway, lots of people were crucified by the Romans, like the thieves next to Jesus. Probably lots of innocent people as well. What does that mean to me? Not a lot either.

it means more than the whole world to me. as a christian I'm thankful for what he did for me. I humble myself before the sacrifice, the man who took it all away and saved me. those who do not believe shall be cut down and thrown into hell, while all those who do shall receive a glorious gift from God. eternal peace. that is what i'm promised. that is what happened on that cross! he gave his life for poeple who don't deserve it! those who believe and follow christ have cheated hell! I'm glad it was worth something and not nothing. because if it were nothing, then i'm a rock!

the extreme lengths He would go in order to rescue us. Dignity is all a man has in the end. His most precious possession. This He gave up in order that we might understand our humiliations in this world are not meaningless or for nothing.

it means because He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of dying on the cross- I have life in Christ, and I am forgiven through His shed blood- and can live eternally with the Holy God that created me. It humbles me to think that Jesus, would lay aside His divinity to die a cruel death that I deserved to die.

I see no humility in the crucifxion of jesus. Just unjustified capital punishment.

He was willing to go through that pain and torture just for mine and my friends sins, and that means aloooot to me, to me it means that , that forgiveness i now have is something special, something not to be taken advantage of and that I should try everyday to live for Him, no not try, that everyday I should live for Him and spread His word without shame
