Do you think it would work?

And is such idealism worth anything if no method is offered?

Don't assume anything about my opinion of the song.

ok, Let me explain this more simply for the slower ones. When you don't have a perfect deity to set moral standards and make laws, you end up deciding what is morally right and what is morally wrong yourself. Correct? yes, ok So therefore Atheism guns it self down whether you claim to be a deity or not, you automatically do it yourself, thus becoming what you hate. Wiccans, your little demons for gods, have to do little tricks to please you, like floating tables and giving dates of death, My God created your existence and there's. So here's my point. Tell me on whatever terms you want, Why the Bible is wrong. I want specifics, not the crap you have been answering with lately. And for the idiots out there asking how old I am. I am 16, in High school.

Are you less tired or maybe you find yourself starting to sleep more.

Do you feel more intuitive? or out of sorts?

Do you have a feeling of impending excitement or extrme sadness.

We might be embarking on out bodies changing DNA to adapt to the new changes in the world and what is to come..

For me I feel so much more intuitive and a nagging feeling that we are on the brink of something major, it's a natural feeling when meditating on GOD and my inner self.

What about you?

Personally I define it as taking a course of action when more than one feasible course of action is available to be taken.

How do you define it?

Is there ALWAYS choice involved in everything we do or are there instances in which a course of action must be taken because no other viable options were available?

Oh, and to make this question applicable to this section: if you "know" Hell exists and that you MUST acknowledge Jesus as your salvation in order to be spared eternal torment, can you really say you "chose" to accept Jesus as your savior, or must you say that Hell, at least for any SANE person, was never a viable option to begin with and that accepting Jesus was your only available course of action?

When I tell people I am a Witch, their first response is usually to cringe and then find an escape route. I believe this is due to ill education about my religion, but I would like some opinions.

I don't care if you are atheist, agnostic, Christian, Wiccan, Buddhist, or anything else.

If those of you who feel the need could refrain from comments like, "I will pray for you," I would appreciate it. Praying for me because I have an alternate religion is nonsensical. Praying for me because I have an issue that needs resolving is a reason to pray for me.

He was born on December 25th to a virgin in a cave and watched over by shepards.
He was visited by 3 wise men.
He was called "the Way, the Truth and the Light, the Redeemer, the Savior, the Messiah"
He had 12 disciples.
He performed Miracles.
He was called the "Good Shepard".
His sacred day was Sunday.
He had a Last Supper when he returned to his father. Also called the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper.
He was buried in a tomb and in three days he was resurrected.
He was believed not to have died, but to have ascended to heaven where it was believed he would return at the end of time where he would judge the living and the dead.
He granted immortal life of his followers through baptism.

A quote about him "He who will not eat of my body and drink of my blood, so that he will be made on with me and I with him, the same shall not know salvation."

So who is he?

Where in scriptures does it say that babies automatically go to heaven because they haven't reached the so called "age of accountability" ? The word accountability isn't even in the bible!
The Bible is VERY clear about who gets into Heaven and who doesn't: John 3:3: "...no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
John 3:15: "...everyone who believes in him [Jesus] may have eternal life."
John 14:6: "Jesus answered: 'NO ONE comes to the Father except through me'"
Children, from conception, are sinners. And scripture says that an unsaved sinner cannot enter heaven. In God’s word this is immutable and unchangeable. Our emotions do not enter the equation. Read scripture and see the true state of babies – God does not see the age of a person who dies. He only sees their state. Children are sinners from conception therefore, they do not go to heaven. No one goes to heaven without Christ and the bible gives no exceptions at all. Deal with it. He is God.

You claim my beliefs contradict? how about yours. You claim there is no God in a sense making your self a god, because you make your rules. You claim to be scientists. All you do is become hypocrites. Prove me wrong. I don't want babbling about the Bible is wrong, come to my terms and gove me Biblocal evidence, and I will come to your terms and prove I'm right with science.

I have to give a devotion about anything...I have decided to do it on the putting on the Full Armor of God. My devotion is going to be given to a group of girls ranging from 1st to 6th grade. Since my devotion is for a group of girls it might as well be designed for a group of girls. I am making my lesson title "Putting On the Full Outfit of God" because I figured most of the girls wouldn't really care about having on an armor. In place of the pants would be a skirt, in place of the breastplate would be a tank top, in place of the shoes would be flip-flops, and in place of the helmet will be a headband. I still haven't decided what to use for the shield and the sword. I will take any ideas as to what to use for these and ideas to add on to my devotion. Please tell me if you think this is a good or bad idea and why.
Thank you.

Soo... I think that's what the RRS believes it is. Dawkins discribes it more as a virus of the mind. What do you think??
Now keep in mind that I'm not saying that I necessarily believe that, so don't attack me with your answers.

In John 14:6 Jesus states that HE is the way the truth and the life, that no man can come to the Father but by Him-- Yet Brigham Young taught that no man can go to heaven without Joseph Smith's consent. Who do Mormon's believe, Christ or Brigham Young? Who are you going to trust, Christ or a sinful man?

Here's the documentation.

"From the day that the priesthood was taken from the earth to the winding up things of all things, every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are -- I with you and you with me. I cannot go there without his consent" (Journal of Discourses 7:238. See also Search These Commandments, 1984, pg. 133).

I am a perfectionist, and I desire G-ds perfection, for only he is perfect.....do you think G-d will give the desires of my heart? I really mean this......seek ye first the kingdom of God and his rightousness, and ALL these things shall be added unto you.....is G-d not perfect in heaven, I seek heavens perfection..... how is your faith to mine?

I mean if Jesus is real, it is because no one desired perfection or his rightousness, and his son was sacraficed, so you can go to heaven, and go your own way and be evil and just believe in his name to make you rightous. Kinda like he saved you from your rightousness.

OK...just as a preface(or whatever) I know this is just a TV show...but...

On Charmed(just now) their friend(who is a warlock) just was ordained a priest and they were happy because when he became a priest it did something to cancel out this dark covenant. The charmed ones were happy he did this as well.

So, if this show has any factual basis would that mean wiccans believed in God?

My question is this- when someone writes hate the sin, not the sinner, I immediately roll my eyes and sigh loudly. Is it ok to drink then too if you are really thirsty?
Also since I am not an Atheist, do I have to start spelling it athiest?
