Matthew12:26
Jesus said that Satan has a kingdom. However, no kingdom can exist physically or spiritually unless God allows it to. And in the book of Daniel we see the angels of God fighting the angels of Satan. the angels of God were trying to bring the answer to Daniel's prayer.but for a time were being stubbornly opposed by Satans army. The bible says interestingly, that Satan's angels were in charge of Persia! So, does knowing these startly details give you more determination to pray and live carefully?

In Christianity there is the cross (+) & then there is the X.

X comes from set, seth, or satan (which are 1 in the same), and it means to cross out, negate, crucify. It should also be noted that you will find the X in the swastika.

The cross of the true Christ was a +.

Just trying to wake some ppl up.

Do you check and see if someone left you a comment? I like to leave comments sometimes but then I think no one ever reads them. Just curious. Mmm

It really worries me.

I think something should be done about your education system. SOme of the answers I see on here, most, and we're talking 99%, being from Americans, are just MIND NUMBINGLY stupid.

It just worries me that so many of the total idiots in this section have a vote, and I worry that they might elect a really bad leader that could potentially wreak havoc all over the world...
Oh wait....

I know there are obviously lots of smart people in America, but my God, what a load of Idiots you have there.

Before you hit back at me instead of addressig my question by attacking Ireland (and proving my point), you should know that it's an Island on the west of the atlantic, it has one of the best education systems in the world, and it has the second strongest economy in europe based on GNP.

Sorry if I insulted any INTELLIGENT, Americans. ALthough given this site, there must not be too many of you on here.

How does such a statement, square with, "Be ye holy, for I am holy", mentioned in the New Testament?

i've heard some of you claim that what Christians believe is the holy spirit is actually just a release of endorphins. how does science explain that the body releases endorphins while sitting in church or praying, both of which require being rather idle? i thought endorphin release occured after a release or transfer of energy in the body? i am ignorant on the subject, and i know i could be very wrong, so i would appreciate if someone could clarify for me.

Why would he leave it up to some clueless christian and a 1600 year old book? This god does not seem to smart!

P.s. Yeah , yeah ... i have been told I am going to hell before. save your breathe!

From another question, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoHlwrvfKWbW6f1V6W1VYxrd7BR.?qid=20070704154828AArxwDb

"You think just because I don't waste my time reading these science or evolutionary books or these philosopher's theories that I don't think?"

Am I the only one who noticed this? This is the very core of the problem between "us and them." They don't have any idea what they are arguing against because they don't even bother to investigate it. I don't believe everything I read, either, but at least I f*ckin read it before I decide it's wrong!

I'm in training to be a Yahoo athiest. You know who we are, we posts questions about God or scripture but really just use that as a forum to state our predetermined opinions.

If I get enough people to post a message agreeing with me then I'll be promoted to full fledged Yahoo Atheist and I can feel really good about myself and my choice to be an atheist. If nobody supports me I might start to question my decision and then who knows, maybe I'll get religious or something.

They used to call him "old Nick", which is why you might sometimes still hear ppl say "old saint Nick". They later added the word Saint to cover this up.

What do you mean "logical?" You think just because I don't waste my time reading these science or evolutionary books or these philosopher's theories that I don't think? I've wondered at times whether or not God was real, like if my religion could be wrong, but then I realized I need faith to believe in God.
Tell me, what logical thinking I should be doing that all you guys talk about?

Don't say Y!A because that's obvious. I'm asking this in terms of religion. People say things like "Then why are you here?" and that just sounds like another way to say "You don't belong." From first look I thought it was for everyone, but apparently some people don't think so.

I have been looking for an Islamic group on Yahoo and haven't been able to find something satisfactory. As this is a religion that I am just beginning to explore, I would prefer to be in an environment where there is moreso the use of 'guidance' than 'conversion tactics' when handling questions.

If anyone can point me in a good direction, I'd be thankful

1) If you found out that Christianity could not be proved in any way, would that be fine with you?

2) If it is fine with you... then what keeps you from having faith in another religion, besides the fact that you didn't grow up with it?

3) And finally, if you said "no it wouldn't be fine"... to the first question, then don't you feel bad for the atheists who have spent much time deliberating, and honestly conclude that Christianity has nothing more to prove or offer than the hundreds of other religions out there? (Including the hundreds of shades of Christianity)

I just saw an answer to that affect.

Please let me assure you that I have heard all you have to say at least a million times and I reject your biblical monster that you worship.

If you are happy with your religion than that is great. Just do not ever feel that it is necessary to preach to others in the world. Many of us believe the bible is man made fiction. You disagree and that is fine, I will not try to judge you.

When I see Christians judging others and wanting to force their religion on me through our laws I will not stand by and do nothing. I will fight you very vocally.

It was revealed to Hazrat Musa (Moses) that there is a man who has vast knowledge than him, Moses prayed to Allah about his willing to meet the person (Hazrat Khizr), then he was ordered to make a journey, take a cooked fish and you will meet him (Hazrat Khizr) at the place where this fish will missing. Musa started his journey to search for Hazrat Khizr and on how he met him and what are the reasons behind the three acts done by Khizr, please read this interesting and meaningful story.

[Taken from Qur'anic verses from 60 to 82 of Surah Kahf (18)]

And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (traveling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in traveling." But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." He said: "Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaytan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. Then they found one of our slaves, unto whom we had bestowed mercy from us, and whom we had taught knowledge from us.

Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you."

So they both proceeded, till, when they embarked the ship, he (Khidr) scuttled it. Musa (Moses) said: "Have you scuttled it in order to drown its people? Verily, you have committed a thing "Imra" (a Munkar - evil, bad, dreadful thing)." He (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you, that you would not be able to have patience with me?" [Musa (Moses)] said: "Call me not to account for what I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my affair (with you)."

Then they both proceeded, till they met a boy, he (Khidr) killed him. Musa (Moses) said: "Have you killed an innocent person who had killed none? Verily, you have committed a thing "Nukra" (a great Munkar - prohibited, evil, dreadful thing)!" (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you that you can have no patience with me?" [Musa (Moses)] said: "If I ask you anything after this, keep me not in your company, you have received an excuse from me."

Then they both proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found therein a wall about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it up straight. [Musa (Moses)] said: If you had wished, surely, you could have taken wages for it!" (Khidr) said: "This is the parting between me and you; I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were unable to hold patience.

"As for the ship, it belonged to Masâkîn (poor people) working in the sea. So I wished to make a defective damage in it, as there was a king after them who seized every ship by force. "And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief."So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy. "And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town; and there was under it a treasure belonging to them; and their father was a righteous man, and your Lord intended that they should attain their age of full strength and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of those (things) over which you could not hold patience."

What is the moral of the story?

i once visited an LDS temple before its dedication, the Winter Quarters temple. i remember it being decorated like a house, everything looked very expensive. the baptismal font was on the back of oxen, what is the purpose of this? there was also a room with rows of chairs, like a movie theater. i think your temples are very fascinating, there were just a few things that i saw that i was not familiar with. and i respect if you don't go into detail about rituals, as i know they are sacred.
