I have been looking for an Islamic group on Yahoo and haven't been able to find something satisfactory. As this is a religion that I am just beginning to explore, I would prefer to be in an environment where there is moreso the use of 'guidance' than 'conversion tactics' when handling questions.

If anyone can point me in a good direction, I'd be thankful

Well I guess it all depends if you are male or female actually. There are sisters-only groups. And then there are public groups for basic islamic beliefs and practices.
