Matthew12:26
Jesus said that Satan has a kingdom. However, no kingdom can exist physically or spiritually unless God allows it to. And in the book of Daniel we see the angels of God fighting the angels of Satan. the angels of God were trying to bring the answer to Daniel's prayer.but for a time were being stubbornly opposed by Satans army. The bible says interestingly, that Satan's angels were in charge of Persia! So, does knowing these startly details give you more determination to pray and live carefully?

Julia D, I respectfully disagree, Derek Prince read Hebrew and he came to the same conclusion. True Satan is man's advisary but the battle is SPIRITUAL and we fight with spiritual weapons such as prayer and the angels of God RESPOND!

DREAMSTUFF I think to the contrary that man has become violent and impatient. This causes God to react to keep humanity from self destructing. Yes God had to order the deaths of some but that saves the eventual race!

There is no "Satan's Army". This is a Church invention, and what you're saying from Daniel isn't what it says in hebrew.

In Judaism, there is ha-Satan, which means "the adversary". It means adversary of mankind, NOT God.

This is an angel, NOT against God, not trying to "take over God's kingdom" at all. This angel has no free will and cannot do anything that God doesn't tell him to do. He can suggest, but he cannot DO, not without God's permission.

His primary function is acting as a kind of "prosecuting attorney". He brings our book of life to God when we die, and brings reasons out of there to God as to why we SHOULDN'T have a place in the World to Come. God listens, and then makes His judgement for us.

The Satan also tempts people, etc. but NOTHING unless God instructs it.

On the deeper levels of the Torah, Satan is nothing more than the extremely harsh judgemental side of God called Gevurah.

There is also an extremely kind side of God, called Chesed.

Neither one of these, alone, would be beneficial to mankind, it takes both, in balance. This balance is called Tiferet.

There is nothing that doesn't come from God. God creates evil, as it says in Isaiah 45:7. The word used there is "ra" which means "evil" in Hebrew. It doesn't mean "catastrophe" or "disaster" or anything else. It means EVIL.

"I alone do these things, there is none besides Me who does these things." -- God

To make another entity able to create evil is Idolatry - it means that you are believing in 2 gods, essentially, because you have then divided God into two parts, good and evil, and then removed the evil part out of God and made it into a separate entity, powerful in its own right. This has just created another god. This is idolatry.

It also ignores God's own words in Isaiah that say that NONE besides God creates evil and good. NONE.

God is ONE. Not 3 in 1, not 2 in 1, just ONE. Everything comes from that ONE.

God is not weak that any "satan's army" could hold off His trying to bring an answer to Daniel's prayer. Not hardly. Not gonna happen. And it didn't. Christians really need to learn what the Torah (old testament) says in Hebrew and the meanings of the stories in there, other than what the church has incorrectly taught you, because those incorrect teachings are leading you to Idolatry.

Satan / Saturn / Saturday which is also known as the 7th day or the Sabbath and to keep it holy was originally intended for the righteous to pray for those who have fallen out of grace so that they may return to the light of God. The battle described between good and bad is more complicated then what has been written by mankind. There is a kingdom of heaven and hell but the reason behind them both is distorted by the censorship of organized religions. I hope this helps. Best Regards, M.G.S.

All the hebrews ever did was reiterate that which was given in the faith of Egypt. The "kingdom" of Satan is "this" WORLD and to VERIFY this, Jesus said many times, "I am not of this world" and also said, "For I go unto the Father in heaven."

Remember, Satan was tossed OUT of heaven. Where is Heaven? Heaven is all about us as "outspace." I have RESEARCHED all ancient religions and between them all they bring about this conclusion which modern religions DENY. Satan is the CREATOR God of THIS species. Why else would you have such a flawed mess of the hebrew faith proclaim superiority when all it's behaviors show nothing but INFERIOR behaviors? This "God" chose MURDERERS to be it's prophets and used MURDER by it's followers to built itself a kingdom amongst men, THUS bringing about the fall of the one the Lord gave 5, 500 years ago in "Egypt." It is why I am........

Satan was also one of God's angels, the most beautiful of angels. His pride and mutiny got him evicted from Heaven and God created hell for him to have dominion over. Just hearing the local news gives me more determination to pray and live carefully every second I breathe. I will not allow Satan and his angels to have the run of my life or that of my family.

What you have stated is right my dear. We Hindus believe that Satan is a servant of God with the one-point responsibility of keeping souls busy in the attractions of the world. If one wants to get away from here into the Kingdom of God, Satan has to try all tricks of preventing him/her. Only when one does not relent and cries out for help from God, God Himself picks him/her in his lap.

If God was able kick Satan out of heaven then he could have easily stopped this army. Wanna know why he didn't? It's just another myth. It's not real.

I don't fear darkness, or Satan for that matter, as I have God and Jesus and all of heaven's angels on my side and light will always be stronger than darkness.
