Don't say Y!A because that's obvious. I'm asking this in terms of religion. People say things like "Then why are you here?" and that just sounds like another way to say "You don't belong." From first look I thought it was for everyone, but apparently some people don't think so.

No seriously, I believe it belongs to everyone, so long as they're respectful, and they're not cloning or trolling.
Oh, and as for the remark that Christians claim it belongs to them, I'm a Christian, and I don't claim that.

You'll hear that a lot from those who do not wish to hear opinions that differ from their own. If you'll scan over some of the resolved questions, you'll see that the askers usually already have the answer they'd like to get already lined out beforehand; they tend to pick answers that are simply rewordings of their original post.
I for one wish to welcome you, although I'll say upfront that I might not agree with you. All the same I'd like to hear what you have to say.

the religion & spirituality section attracts religious fanatics with no concept of spirituality ...people who come to talk about how right they are to believe the things they were told and how wrong everyone else is for not agreeing with them
of course we would hope for intelligent conversations and debates, exploring possibilities with open minds... but this is far too much to ask of most people who consider themselves religious

i think it was created for the people,different catagories are specified for the people that are interested or know the answers to help the others,i think people sometimes say things when they are left w/o an answer
