What are properties of soul?
Can we live without soul? (MUSLIMS) (God takes away our soul every night when we go to sleep right?)
Is soul our conscious?
If we can't recognize soul with out the body that means the soul needs the body as much as the body needs the soul. So then soul won't be capable of surviving on its own because if conscious is our soul then our actions depend on the soul and the Soul uses the body to do the bidding?
Am I a confused soul right now? lol
AM I making sense?

Do atheists believe in soul?

I noticed that the leader of LDS group is a President so I guess it's just a business. As Christians we have Bishops, Popes, Pastors etc. Why is the leader of the Mormons a corporate position rather than parochial vocation?

I am a Christian but went to a Mormon mass at the LDS church with my friend. Is that sinful? I know that Mormons don't believe the same as us Christians.

I dont know what to believe anymore. I feel like I have my own "beliefs" but sometimes they tend to contradict themselfs. I wish I had stronger religion in my household growing up. I do believe in God. Is that enough?

In Genesis 3:22, after the fall of Adam and Eve, God basically said that they could not come back and eat of the tree of life because they would live forever as God. Does this meant that man was not created to live forever? At least not to live forever physically?

Why do Athiest sweep quotes like these under the rug?

"The statistical probability that organic structures and the most precisely harmonized reactions that typify living organisms would be generated by accident, is zero."

- Ilya Prigogine (Chemist-Physicist)
Recipient of two Nobel Prizes in chemistry

"The really amazing thing is not that life on Earth is balanced on a knife-edge, but that the entire universe is balanced on a knife-edge, and would be total chaos if any of the natural 'constants' were off even slightly. You see," Davies adds, "even if you dismiss man as a chance happening, the fact remains that the universe seems unreasonably suited to the existence of life -- almost contrived -- you might say a 'put-up job'."

- Dr. Paul Davies
(noted author and Professor of Theoretical Physics at Adelaide University)"...

With Independence day coming up I thought it would be neat to post some quotes from our founding fathers.
Here is mine:
"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 17, 1782

A bridge between science and religion discovered ?

For many, many years it was discovered that there exists a negative side to truth; an unknown paradox that truth can lie.

This negative component to truth was being wrongly employed by many social agencies, with the paradoxical result that the traditional family unit was being divided, and the sexes polarized.

This negative side to truth, anti-truths, also could be the bridge between science and religion, as it confirms that the 'original sin' is still with us, and can be understood by understanding the scientific properties between light and truth.

The new dimension to truth, anti-truths, also redefines half-truth, and lie.

Problem is the same media people who were informed of this continue to attack religion and have failed to expose this negative side to truth.

So why is the mainstream media in Canada, and in the USA ignoring this ?

He said this...

“A super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature,”

Which well known atheist after using science said this….

"When I began my career as a cosmologist some twenty years ago, I was a convinced atheist. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that one day I would be writing a book purporting to show that the central claims of Judeo-Christian theology are in fact true, that these claims are straightforward deductions of the laws of physics as we now understand them. I have been forced into these conclusions by the inexorable logic of my own special branch of physics."

I want to know how Noah managed to collect species from Continents that he didn't evn know about? How did he get South Pole penguins? North American grizzlies? Australian kangaroos? And how did he manage to bring back every species of animal, times 2, from Africa? How many trips would he have had to have made? What if, for examples, the lions he brought back on an earlier trip died or ate another creature? Did he have to bring back more than 2 prey animals for the predators to snack on while they waited for him to get back from his journeys? How did he get Polar bears to the ark?

So for believers of a global flood, don't say god can do anything as the bible is pretty clear Noah did the legwork getting the animals together. But HOW??
