A. we don't have "Mass". We have Sacrament meeting.
B. We believe in the ONLY Jesus Christ there is. If you or anyone doen' believe in the "same" Jesus we do, then you might want to take a long serious look at Him again.

I am an Anglican worshipper and sometimes I go to a Catholic church with my wife who is a catholic sometimes I go to a small offshoot of the AOG which is a real fire and brimstone service. That wee gathering of 10 or 12 people has done more for me than any of the big mainline church meetings .
I go to AA now and I do believe there is a higher power in all of us because he is certainly doing some miracles in our small group. One guy like me was fast becoming the town drunk that was 6 weeks ago now he has recovered and is a fine example and i too have not had a drink for the last 8 months, now that is a miracle. My marriage has healed and my business is growing slowly but surely.God loves us all no matter what the religion.

What you went to was called a sacrement. Who told you that mormon's don't believe the same thing as christians. Christians believe in God and in Jesus Christ. Last time I checked so did Mormons.
God won't be mad at you because you explred a different type of religion than your norm. As long as you believe in him, I think you are cool in his book.
You are also probably baseing your decision on the show Big Love. Might I just say...that is NOT how mormons are. They are a seperate union of people that dont believe the same thing as most LDS people

You "christians" don't believe the same as other "christians".
MORMONS ARE CHRISTIANS.
You went to a church service where people worshiped, discussed, prayed to, and testified of Jesus Christ. I think he'd be pleased that you went.
BTW, there are lots of Mormon-haters on here that will say "yes it was sinful" or stupid or whatever, but keep in mind....they're mormon haters.

No, going to worship services of other Christian sects isn't a sin. It's not even a sin to observe certain rituals from non-Christian groups (imagine the religious wedding of a friend, or the bar-mitzah of a neighbor). Do NOT join in on the prayers or placing anything on the alter, though.

Why would he? Mormons believe in Jesus. They are the Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ.

I don't think Jesus would be angry. Mormons are Christians too. Going to another church service would be good because you would be learning about another religion.

If it is something important for your friend such as a get married you can go i think as long as you respect his rituals and do not do something against your beliefs, it is fine.
Doing it everyday is not good i think, but not enough to be a sin, i think.
I am a catholic either way, maybe your religion is more strict on that matters.

It is true that Mormons are not Christians. Going to a Mormon service is not a sin even though it may not be the best use of your time. It will not cause you to lose the salvation that you have.

Jesus said to test the spirits to see if they be true.
He expects us to test out other churches, but once we learn the truth,we are sinning if we keep going around searching.
