When I say better, I mean based on the available facts that we have.

What is your opinion?

Well, I would say the Atheist arguments as those were the ones that convinced me, but even based on available facts, the term better is relative.

It doesn't matter which one has a better argument, truth is truth.

Without being biased, I believe Atheists have the upper hand in the argument between Theists and Atheists.

1. We have logical evidence that can be mapped out to show how everything works.
2. We have the argument that granted, we don't know everything yet. We're only human, we can't possibly know everything on a subject, but because we find new things about the Earth and existence every day, I'm a firm believer that one day, as technology advances, we;ll have the technology to "close out" our side of the argument with evidence and a better explanation.
3. The Bible was written by the same people who thought the world was flat and science quickly drowned that theory.
4. It's like old Indian and Folk tales. When there's something you can't explain, make something up to explain it.

Athiests can provide solid, grounded in science facts. So definately the non-believers. Although, its pretty interesting when someone with a concept or faith-based opinion wins an argument over proven fact. Those are the fun arguments to listen in on. Some believers have their manipulation and pursuasion skills down to a science. (Not saying thats a bad thing by any means).

If you truly study science, you can see that it's all belief. The more we know, the more we realize that we know nothing.

Absolutely nothing is objective in life, and believing that your belief system is above everyones is ignorant, whether you're atheist or a believer.
I see both using 'you must be an idiot if you don't see what I see'. It's all relevant, possibly correlated, and possibly polarized.

We don't know, and for anyone to say they do know... they're the ignorant one, on either side.

I think it's funny when you look at simple logic(A=B, B=C, then A=C).... that atheist believe they're(and science is) all knowing. Well, the concept of God is all knowing, which then Atheists/science/scientists are God.
hmmmmmm, very interesting.

Which believers? The ones who believe that mohammed is the prophet, or the ones who believe that Jesus did magic tricks, or the ones who believe that their baby might be the next messiah?

Or the ones who believe that life is suffering, or the ones who believe that marrying 50 women in Utah will get you to heaven faster?

Or the ones who believe that force is necessary to convert a person? Or the ones who believe that witches float?

I would say that the best argument comes from the individual who understands that ALL religions think that all the other religions will burn in hell.

More than that, I would say that the winner of the argument is the one who chooses NOT to argue.

Atheists might win outright, just because there is no way to prove "God" exists, and as for the bible what if that was just an average Joe's comeback story that he wrote as a failing author?

Genesis 1:27 says that god created man in his own image. Then why is it that there are many different races and we all look different from one another and we are all able to doubt the existance of a "God" from which we are created and if god really doesn't want us to do what we are doing then why doesn't he just wipe out everything on the earth or force us to change?

All the believer's arguments have been thoroughly debunked since 17th century.

Only a fool would believe arguments made by Thomas Aquinas and William paley.

Believers. Atheists either dont understand Gods word or just dont read it. Believers have facts to talk about. all Atheists have is that the devil is a fallen angel that wanted all the power of God. and that he does evil. But Believers have a huge book full of Gods promises and stories of what he has done for people to base their descutions on.
