Easy to be hard...
Easy to be cold.

I want to say good night, and God bless you all. Do you drink a hot drink before you go to bed, becasue I find that relaxes me and a hot shower does to before I go to sleep. Anyway sisters and brothers God bless you all, good night all.

See the link below for the latest news on Roswell;
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/07/02/dead_pr_alien_claim/

So - what do you guys think?

Lieutenant Walt was the PR officer at Roswell who put out the two contradictory news releases. Now, after his death and as instructed by him, his letter is opened and it says...he saw alien bodies and UFO material.

So...what do you think, guys?

Does this alter your faith in a God/your belief in your faith?

Do aliens have a religion?

Does God exist, and not, if what L. Walt says is true?

"I find it interesting that Christians/theists that are kind and generally nice have a God who is loving and accepting. And Christians/theists that are judgmental and dissatisfied have a God that is demanding and difficult to appease."

i think there is some validity to this, do you, and if so, why?

wouldn't that mean being heterosexual is a choice as well? if it is, then you can't argue that heterosexuality is natural. you can say it's more popular than being gay, but definitely not natural.

My fiancee' believes that every word of the Bible is literally what it means.. for instance.. God created the Earth in 7 man days about 6000 years ago (although that conflicts with carbon dating completely). She also believes that the imagery John wrote about in Revelations will literally occur. This just makes no sense to me. God spoke through dreams and visions to people.. such as Daniel. These prophetic visions were to be interputed, not taken as is.

Is it because you believe in the true one God that existed before Jesus? Is it a case of mistaken identity. People thought he walked on water and they shouted: "Hey, Zeus?"

It is a scientific fact that we have Achilles tendons. Achilles is the son of a sea nymph. We have all descended from him. Troy existed.

Ergo. Zeus exists.

It seems disheartening that humans have not evolved beyond the pack mentality of killing one another over land, opinions, beliefs or ideas. We kill each other over ownership of land that really doesn't belong to us... it belongs to the Earth. We blow each other up because we cannot agree on who's God is real. We murder each other over resources and out of greed.
Is this it? Is this what we've evolved to be? Is this what it means to be God's children? I'm sorry, this isn't really a question but an observation.

Since Jehovah's Witnesses insist on saying that a cross can't be called a pole, what do you (or they) call a utility pole when it looks like a T shape because it has a crosspiece? Do you refuse to call it a utility pole?

He was a rising star in the "gay rights" movement, but Michael Glatze now declares not only has he given up activism – he's no longer a homosexual.
In his column, Glatze doesn't mince words, calling homosexual sex purely "lust-based," meaning it can never fully satisfy.

"It's a neurotic process rather than a natural, normal one," he writes. "Normal is normal – and has been called normal for a reason."

After becoming editor of Young Gay America magazine at age 22, Glatze received numerous awards and recognition, including the National Role Model Award from the major homosexual-rights organization Equality Forum. Media gravitated toward him, leading to appearances on PBS television and MSNBC and quotes in a cover story in Time magazine called "The Battle Over Gay Teens."
Toward the end of his time with Young Gay America, Glatze said, colleagues began to notice he was going through some kind of religious experience.

How many times is that tired misconception going to be repeated? Atheists simply goto a search engine and type "Bible contradictions" and think they've studied the Bible. I've gone to web sites which refute those web sites, to what ends does it really help? Are atheists really so naive and arrogant that they believe no Christian has either studied their Bible or has a grasp of what they believe? I stake my life and that of my family on the knowledge of God and Christ. Is there anything in your life you can say that about? Do you really think you are more enlightened than ANY Christian? Isn't that a tad, naive? I'd be happy to debate any point, but in the end would you believe me anyway?
