No. I'm in awe of God, the same way I'm in awe of lightning and thunder. The same way I'm in awe of nature, and the universe, and the ocean.

No. We aren't supposed to be afraid of God. The word "fear" means to hold in awe or reverence in this case.
I am not afraid of someone who loves me and who thinks I am wonderful.
