I was at Popeye's yesterday, and there was what looked like a church bus in the parking lot. But the logos had a Star of David and there was Hebrew on the front, so I thought, "Oh OK, they're Jewish." Then I noticed that inside the Star of David was a cross, and I was like "lsnjlkdhf???" So what was it do you think? Jews for Jesus or something?

obviously there is no god but people use god in everything they do. It's quite sickening to hear an argueing couple quote scriptures from a book that is so fake and filled with contradictions. Evolution is so obvious that there cannot be a god or his fake son Jesus. I was just wondering why people cannot think for themselves and are brainwashed by believing in that fake god? It makes no sense to me so maybe someone can tell me why they must believe in god and fear going to hell when obviously neither exist.

A central element of Pascal’s Wager is that the cost of becoming a Christian is negligible. But, personally what I would lose by becoming a Christians far out weights anything I could possible gain. But since answering your own question is poor form I will leave it to you all.

1. What would you lose by becoming a Christian?

2. Would you gain anything by becoming a Christian?

Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it. -(Matthew 7:13-14)

Where is Father Guido? His profile does not come up.

His answers were always intelligent and never hateful so he had to have been reported just for disagreeing.

Does anyone have anything to contribute?

Being an Atheist, I've been informed by many Christians that I have the "White Throne Judgement" to look forward to---although I have yet to receive my invitation! I'm still puzzling over what to wear; this is very important to me, as Jack is known for style and charm, but my question about the same elicited little response. Perhaps the guidelines for the affair are not yet settled?

Anyway, I think I should give some attention as to what gift I should bring. Jack must have a tasteful, thoughtful gift to bring, as an example to all of the Christians who have heralded the day when Jack meets God. Doubtless, I will make a good impression on the Lord(with such charm, how could I not?), but Christians, having so much more acquaintance with the most high, perhaps can find it in their hearts to give me some ideas.

What would God like? My first thought was a good bottle of claret, but I suppose he could have his son turn some water into that any time he pleases. Any thoughts?

Constatine organized the church and banned everything Pagan, including bath because the Greeks did it. Then people wiped out cats and books which lead to the dark ages. (The cats got taken out because it was considered paganistic a throw back from the Egptians, books because they were written by the pagan Greeks.) With no cats, the rats took over the cities. This brought on the black plague. So does that mean that Christians were responsible for the Black Plague?

I think Christians selectively choose Bible verses to back up their secular hatred of gays. They don't like homosexuality, so they try to find an excuse that supports their view in the Bible.

Everyone quotes the Old Testament when it comes to gays, but the Old Testament famously calls for "an eye for an eye" while Jesus called for "turning the other cheek." Shouldn't followers of Christ be going with HIS teachings when there are conflicts between the two texts? (The Old Testament also said it was OK to keep slaves, remember.)

Luke 17:34 in one translation of the Bible says "Jesus claims, 'I tell you; on that night two PEOPLE will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.'" But in another translation, it says 'I tell you, in that night there shall be two MEN in one bed...' Who made that substitution? An EDITOR decides what Christians believe?

Jesus may not have even mentioned gays. Are there ANY Christians eager to leave this prejudice behind in the Old Testament?

A couple of weeks ago I asked a question about if Jesus Christ has ever said he was God. I got more than 30 replies. I went almost like this. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No....... It seems Bible readers are divided into two campus. On one side a group of people thinks he said he was God So a YES answer. But also lots of people said he never ever said he was God. So a NO answer. This Yes. No . Yes. No .... reminds me of my girlfriend... Yes. No. Yes No. Have you ever experience this sort of dicotomy? You do not know if you are going or coming.... So I am leading to believe that the Bible was either written by Filibuster Politicians or Filibuster women or a combination of both and using some sort of slippery oil to beautify their skin

What i mean is that as time goes on, certain parts of the bible seem to change, in a way, or just chosen to be believed a different way. Parts of the bible become ignored like many sins.

Things that changed for example:
Earth was the center of the universe
Slavery is somehow justified in the bible.
Cutting your hair/shaving is a sin. Along with many other that are apparently OK to break. Or they are at least done on a daily basis.

God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?
Seven (2 Samuel 24:13) OR Three (I Chronicles 21:12)?
Along with the other 1001 contradicting verses in the bible...

Got anymore?

How do you know which parts are ok to follow?
