Muslims, do you think Islam can survive without the syariah laws that prohibits people from leaving islam and you allow your children to either accept or reject islam when they turn teenager instead of making them muslims when they're born?

Do you think your islamic religion can charismatically influence unbelievers as much as the christian or buddhist or hindhu religion to believe in it?

Let's try this, you go around preach to an infidel. What do you tell him/her?

"Hey, allah loves you! and muhammad offers you salvation". Hic~, sorry that doesn't work cos allah taught to kill and muhammad wasn't even sure of his own salvation.

OR

"Come here you lucky fella, hear this, do good and be blessed!" Sorry again, this doesn't work cos allah says to kill the infidels and those who leave islam.

So, you have to LIE to preach islam?

Hey, how about this "Hear ye hear ye, you infidels! allah wants you today. Press the button and get your free virgins!"

Lets face it. Our concept of right and wrong are influenced by religion. What's right to a Christian can be wrong to a Muslim and vice versa. What and who then dictates our action as right or wrong?

Okay so I just sort of fell into my faith and I don't know where to go from here. I actually Emailed a pastor asking for advice, but it's been about a month since he told me he'd put me in contact with the assistant pastor at the church. So I've basiclly accepted that that's fallen through. What I need to know, is what do I do now. My parents didn't really take me to church as a child and I just started reading the Bible. I'm 16 by the way. I mean do I just walk into a church and sit down, or do I need to, I dont know introduce myself to the head of that church first. As you can see I'm really quite clueless when it comes to this subject. So I was hoping all you girls and guys could help me out. As I said before please only answer the question with a real answer. Thanks!

To call oneself a chemist, a person must have a degree in Chemistry. To call oneself a student of statistics, a person must have had it at a certain level.
To call oneself a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Jew, shouldn't one have experience of STUDYING its scriptures?
I have seen some comments from reasonable people wherein they attribute things to scriptures which are totally opposite to what's in there.
Should we just follow the religion of our forefathers and call all other religions wrong or should we study all of them?
How can a person be a follower of a religion without actually studying in detail its scriptures?

This is why I accuse atheists of being dumb from time to time. I posted some brief criticisms of what I regard to be bad atheist arguments and I get mistaken for being religious or sympathetic to religion.

Just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean I have to agree with every opinion that other atheists have. I think it's important for atheists to honestly critique one another, because in the long run it will help to dispel weak arguments.

Is that right they are above and grant other nation like god's mercy? Think about their past time of war and engage in war now ! And the way they educate their people to invade with war tool and social pressings.

Is it true that in Mormonism women are viewed as second class citizens? Is it true that Mormon women are taught to obey their husbands because they hold the priesthood? I knew a Mormon lady who was beat by her husband and used these awful excuses to justify his actions.

I'm married to a woman who was born in Israel and she told me along time ago, she was NEVER taught in her Jewish faith schools, that Hilter killed 6 million non-jews. She was only taught that Hilter only killed jews. She was shocked to hear about the 'non-jews' of equal number that Hilter also killed. Why does it seem that people of the jewish faith have little regard for the 6 million non-jewish people who were killed by Hitler?

that god could have pretended that life started with him, when in fact another god in a parallel universe created him and told him to say that. You can harp on about the bible saying that before him there was no life (yawn) but he could easily have lied as part of his plan. After all, he can do anything, can't he?

Exodus 20:4 says; Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Here is the way I see it.

The making of a graven image, mean’s, that you should not make a self-fit God. That means a God that fit’s yourself, either with your hands or your minds! And example of this is someone who says; My God isn’t a God of Wrath and Judgment, he one of Love and Mercy. He would never create a place called Hell!

When someone says this, agree with them, say, You’re right! Your god would never create a place called hell! He couldn’t. He doesn’t have the power to! Because, he doesn’t exist! He’s a figment of your imagination, in place of imagery. For you’ve molded and shaped a god to fit yourself. You’ve said, I’m the potter he’s the clay, and you’ve molded a god to fit you. Its called Idolatry! It’s the oldest sin in the Bible.

Creationists know that the theory of evolution contradicts itself, there are no intermediate species in the fossel record, fossels (and the earth) are only a few thousand years old, carbon dating is bunk, it's mathematically impossible for life to have developed from simple molecules, and the second law of thermodynamics absolutely disproves evolution.

So why has nearly every scientist in the world, joined in this vast, evil conspiracy to preach evolution and the old earth theory? Why do they spend millions of dollars that they get from the government to "study" fossels and biology and geology, but lie and make up "facts?" Why do these highly trained scientists from biology, geology, archaeology, mathematics, and even astronomy weave their lies together to make them work with the lies told by scientists from other fields? Why do they use this phony "carbon dating" just to attack Christianity and creationism?

Could they know something the religious creationists don't? Hmmm...
