During questioning, most anti-abortionists are willing to make exceptions when rape, incest or the life of the mother is in jeopardy.

Why?

Is the fetus any less innocent when it is the result of rape or incest? Is the fetus any less human? These are your two favourite arguments: innocence and humanity.

And why an exception for the mother's health? There have been cases where the mother died but the body was put on life-support and a healthy baby delivered after several months. If, in your opinion, the mother has no rights to end an innocent human life, shouldn't she be forced to carry to term whether she lives or dies?

Doesn't the fact that you allow exceptions prove you are not concerned with innocent human life at all, you just want to punish people for what you consider immoral sexual behaviour?

Isn't it true your need to punish these people is so great you are willing to deny them a safe abortion in the hopes they die at the hands of some back-street abortionist?

it's so sad what muslims are facing everyday from wrongful accusations, to insults, to unfair employment in foreign countries because of wearing a headscarf or so....... but the worst is that this image is being deformed by muslims themselves.....when alqaeda and other terrorist group members publically declare that they are following the quran by killing innocent civilians!!!! and also muslims who are hostile against nonmuslims....
we all agree that this ain't related to islam by any means....but how can we change it.......
I'm sure all of you who log in here to answer questions about islam have a huge love for this religon....so let's think together of ideas that can help change this stereotypical false image of islam......something big, global that can have a social peaceful impact and may change some opinions.....let's hope and pray god blesses us with this honour

this site is scary and i think it's taking things a bit too far...
condemning other religions? creepy music? illogical propagandas? that is SO not right.

by all means, i respect christianity for what it is, but this has really changed my view on the situation. it really showed me how fanatic some ppl can become. it's scary.

i think ppl should let ppl practice their own religion and respect other religions too.

I grew in a very religious family, and they teach us about much manner.
For example, table manner, My mom said that Muslim should sit while they are eating, pray basmalah and pray before eat, use right hand, no leave any food in plate, no speak while eating, etc.
I don't know exactly, which is my country culture and which is Islamic way, coz i never find that in hadith
Please tell me, How Islam teach us about table Manner, exactly

like any negative influances in your life such as family etc, so you find that makes you spiritually depressed and how do you handle it? I have found that any negative person or people that interferes with your walk with God you have to get rid of. Because I want to be on fire for God not talk to negative people. I rang my sister up tonight to tell her of the words given to me this morning by God and she sounded not ver responsice. She then said she is tired and had to go and pick her boyfriend up from work. I should not have told her. I will not be telling anyone else about my testomineis again. Not one. So christians do you have any negative people in your life- if you do get rid of them fast.

I realize, in light of remarks which some atheists make here, that believers are convinced that all atheists "hate" the god which is so important to so many. This is not the case. Most atheists, in the UK, in Canada, and here in the USA, do not "hate" your Bronze Age god simply because, to them, there never has been a god to hate, that no gods existed in the long-gone past, that none exists as our society inches, kicking and screaming, toward global modernity and civilization.

Clearly, change frightens you. It was ever so. Not long ago, many were sure that the Wrights brothers were wacko, that if god meant man to "fly" he would have given us feathers. In a hop and a jump, or less, far less as universal "time" goes, we are now flying men to the Moon and probes to other planets in our solar system.

Religion, as it is practiced in the United States, with such fervor and fear and juvenile acceptance, is, believe me, on the way to the door. Change happens, and the wise embrace it.

To the Witches and Pagans out there - we all know the chant
" To bind the spell every time, Let the spell be spoke in rhyme" but do you really need to? Isn't it the intent of the heart that the Divine hears the most, not our ability to form rhyming couplets? What do you think?

Why is it that most people seem to think ALL witchcraft is Wicca, or that Wicca is all there is to witchcraft? Wicca only goes back 50-60 years. Robert Cochrane was not Wiccan, nor was Andrew D Chumbley or Austin Osman Spare. Yet, both these men belonged to traditions of witchcraft other than Wicca. Could it be that most Wiccans, and the public at large are just ignorant of witchcraft other than the fluffy "Raving Twit" mass rip-off, white-washed stuff you find in most new age shops?
