like any negative influances in your life such as family etc, so you find that makes you spiritually depressed and how do you handle it? I have found that any negative person or people that interferes with your walk with God you have to get rid of. Because I want to be on fire for God not talk to negative people. I rang my sister up tonight to tell her of the words given to me this morning by God and she sounded not ver responsice. She then said she is tired and had to go and pick her boyfriend up from work. I should not have told her. I will not be telling anyone else about my testomineis again. Not one. So christians do you have any negative people in your life- if you do get rid of them fast.

God is hard to walk with, because he doesn't exist. I supposed that when people keep pointing out that your invisible friend is a superstition, it does make it more difficult to pretend to be walking with him.

That's the thing about family. You can't just get rid of them. But yes I know what you are talking about. My husband and I moved about three hours away from my family and we have a strong spiritual life with God. Ever time I visit my family or talk to them on the phone, Its like the world around me just changed. We have surrounded ourselves with christian friends here that pray with us, they don't use bad language, but then I get around my family and here comes the gossiping, the bad language, bad attitudes. It can be very hard to be around them. I think that God can just make you stronger through those situations though. We as Christians can't just get rid of every person in our life that doesn't believe OR act the way we do, but we can be the example of Christ and stand firm in our faith.

Contrary to your feelings, the negative people are the very ones you need to show your love and testimony too. Show is the word I use as sometimes your proselytizing can be overwhelming to one who does not know the Lord. Pray before you speak. Allow them the freedom of choice you had. God does not push. He is there and wooing others unto himself. Allow God to do His work. You plant seeds. You help Him. Keep your faith strong through prayer and reading His words in the Bible. Keep your faith. Others are not the problem, they are His children as well.

That is good but God will put someone in your life that is Christ minded like you.God will have a person that you can tell the blessings you receive but you have to wait.but where their are 2 or three gathered in my name I am in their midst.You need a prayer partner because God will reveal important messages while you are talking by the power of the Holy Spirit.but you have to wait on God and pray about this to Jesus Ok ask Jesus for wisdom He wants to ANSWER YOUR PRAYER

My family is convinved that "I found God"....
What they fail to realize is that God is the One who found me....and not the opposite.
They think He is a crutch..........for weak people. I don't care what they think though, He is my Lord & Savior.
And He can be their's too........
But to answer your question....no...they do not affect my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ in any way.
