During questioning, most anti-abortionists are willing to make exceptions when rape, incest or the life of the mother is in jeopardy.

Why?

Is the fetus any less innocent when it is the result of rape or incest? Is the fetus any less human? These are your two favourite arguments: innocence and humanity.

And why an exception for the mother's health? There have been cases where the mother died but the body was put on life-support and a healthy baby delivered after several months. If, in your opinion, the mother has no rights to end an innocent human life, shouldn't she be forced to carry to term whether she lives or dies?

Doesn't the fact that you allow exceptions prove you are not concerned with innocent human life at all, you just want to punish people for what you consider immoral sexual behaviour?

Isn't it true your need to punish these people is so great you are willing to deny them a safe abortion in the hopes they die at the hands of some back-street abortionist?

You last accusation is not only false and a libelbut is an expression of bitter judgementalism ,the very attitude that you would object to if applied to"Contempt-for-Preborn-Humans"pro-abortionists.
Some allow acceptions because they feel that laws banning abortion without the exceptions would never pass. The extremely rare cases of "if the baby isto live the mother will probably die" is pitting two innocent human lives against each other. All should be done to save both lives and health. Putting a brain dead mother on life support to save the baby's life is logical, compassionate and do-able.
I agree with you that rape, incest, health ,etc exceptions are against innocence and humanity and I oppose them.It is wrong to punish the child with capital punishment for the crimes and sins of the father(who should be severely punished).
Abortion is not a sex issue but a human life issue. Do you regret that your mother did not abort you? I sincerely hope not and I hope that you will become really pro-woman by becoming pro-life. Abortion is just plain evil and has produced only evil results.

"punish people for what you consider immoral sexual behaviour?"

LOL no.

i'm not christian and don't believe in abortion, and do believe in the exceptions mentioned. as far as the health of the mother - ya, if she's dead and can be on support to keep the baby alive until birth, then great! but if it's between letting one or the other live, ask the mother, let her make that decision.

people need to take responsibility for their actions. people know that sex creates babies. if they don't want babies, don't do the thing that will cause that to happen.

my first pregnancy was when i was 16. i didn't use precautions, i thought it would never happen to me. my family wanted me to get an abortion. i couldn't do it. i was willing to take responsibility. now i have an amazing 15 yr old son.

my 2 daughters were both conceived using condoms, that broke. i didn't want those children at that time in my life, but again, abortion is wrong, and now i have a wonderful 12 and 9 yr old daughter. i wouldn't trade these kids for anything, and i sometimes think about how my family wanted me to kill my son because he was "inconvenient"

now let's see if you choose a B/A based on a good answer to your question, or just someone who agrees with your opinion

You have a good point, but unfortunately based on a false premise. No-one who is truly pro-life would allow for the brutal murder of an innocent child because of a crime committed against his/her mother.

As for "life of the mother", no-one is obligated to seriously endanger their own life in order to save the life of another person, and no pro-life person would ever place a women in that position. However, we all know the real reason pro-abortionists push for "life of the mother" exceptions is that it's a giant loophole that allows abortion on demand. A woman only has to say "I'm so upset over this pregnancy that I'm having suicidal thoughts" and voila! Her life is "in danger".

The fact that exceptions are made proves the ability to identify with valid points made from the other side of an issue. It is called compromise. With the wide variety, easily accessible and high rate of effectiveness of contraceptives today, there is no reason abortion needs to be used as a method of birth control. Having said that, I don't see any real current threat of it being overturned.

whether or no longer they are able to experience discomfort is beside the point. some residing people have a particular situation the place they do no longer experience discomfort. Is it precise to kill them? Why could the functioning of the innovations, somewhat than the functioning of the guts (or in basic terms the strengthen of the recent human in many cases) make certain if the fetus is (human adequate yet). the undeniable fact that the advent up human has its very own gentic makeup is adequate for me. it extremely is human. The fetus is a level of HUMAN progression.

I do not believe that there should be exceptions for rape or incest.
Your last comment is ridiculous. It doesn't seem to occur to pro-choicers that women who die from back street abortions, are being killed by pro-choice abortionists disobeying the law!

I do agree that abortion is wrong but when it comes to rape then the mother has not had sex consensually so the baby is a result of that. That is the only reason that I would say it is right,

I don't know what other pro-lifers think out there, but I know what they should think if they even bother to take the stand of pro-life at all. All human life is a sacred thing, and there is absolutely NO case when an abortion is O.K. I take the Christian stand, the stand of the Holy Catholic Church which teaches that ALL abortion is murder and one of the worst evils we face in the world today.

The crime of a man does not justify murdering a child. Incest? So what. The "mutation" rate among incest children is around 3%, and the "mutations" are minor at best. The only time an abortion isn't murder is when carrying out the pregnancy presents a considerable risk to the mother.

Using rape and incest is just a cowards excuse.
