How ugly human being and religion is?I just felt so disgusted.....what can we do and when this world and human being can be away from such atrocities.....I think this will be with human race for ever as it is part of what human being is?Don't you think so...

Honor killing is one of the ugliest crimes in the world and no punishment would do justice to its gravity and ugliness.

To believe that such behavior will exist forever is partly what keeps such behavior happening. No one can change what they believe cannot be changed.

Actually, it is better that such tragedies happen, for the attention they bring to the forefront is what will eventually cause the change. Change only happens when people recognize that such needs to happen, and that cannot be if the acts and/or beliefs of such remain unreported or unnoticed. The ignorance of the past must be brought into the present if the future is to be different than it is today.

Think about it this way: the Japanese doomed their country to defeat when they made the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, eventhough it took approximately 4 years to do it. Tragedy is one of the best motivators of change that human beings possess, and if you take this incident as being part of that change, then not only can you transform it within yourself but you can see the transformation that MUST come about from it.

I think the sane people of the world are sickened by these atrocities. This "Honor" killing had nothing to do with these peoples religion, it was a cultural practice, used much, but spoken of never. People who commit these atrocities are ignorant, bloodthirsty cowards. Gods Word speaks to us and tells us to do everything out of Love for God and people. People have twisted and perverted Gods Word in order to satisfy their own sick and demented philosophies. God has no part of either murder or hate. Most importantly, why didn't the police do anything about it? The girl testified in front of a trial, and they didn't take her seriously.
