Jesus said rich men don’t go to Heaven easily and even implied that it wasn’t possible.

Why are so many people with money and property Christian if they are probably going to Hell?

He said something I found very intresting. All these Christians piss and moan about abortion and how as soon as the egg is fertilized by the sperm, the baby is technically alive. Well this minister I talked to said that was wrong. He showed me some quote in the Bible that said that the baby is not technically alive untill the mother can feel it inside her. Let me ask you something all you fundamentalist Christians. Is the Bible wrong and you are right???

I know that the book is very esoteric and includes stories of angelic giants. However, the early church rejected its canonical status because of its bizarre nature. Should the early church included this book?

I have to read the book of Proverbs, from the bible, in a couple of days. There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs and I am supposed to summarize, talk about key points, and describe how I feel about each chapter.
I was wondering if anyone knew a website that had some notes on the book of proverbs or any helpful guidance sites.
Or perhaps if you have read the book of Proverbs, or any specific one, feel free to leave the specific chapter, what it is about, and what you thought about that chapter.
Your help would most certainly be appreciated.. Thanks

I have read that in some Covens There is One Grimoire that belongs to the coven, and the coven members will copy it down in there own BoS.

My question is "Is this a normal thing? do they do this just to get them started off, or what?"

Thanks!

If you don't believe in Quetzalcoatl (the feathered serpent god of Aztec culture), doesn't that require just as much faith as it takes to believe in Quetzalcoatl?

I saw someone answer the would kill Satan if the were God for a day. It raised an interesting question in my mind. You can't have good with out evil, joy with out sorrow, life with out death. Its a balance. And with out Satan there would be no hell. So would people ask for grace? The question is
Would you kill Satan if you could?

the Holy Spirit, isn't voiced more from the pulpit? Do you think it is because there is more of an acceptance of sin within Churches? They don't want people to be consience of the consequences of sin?

I have a difficult time understanding how and why people would make such a judgement or assumption. Looking to understand where others are coming from. I am a Mormon and proud to be, I just don't understand what in peoples minds can justify such statement.

If we we're then how can one say God created us if to be created you must have a begining? THe bible also says the soul that sins shall die, which means annihilation.

Why is Judaism so intolerant of idolatry? I don't mean massive temples with human sacrifices. What about a civilized idolater, in the privacy of his own home. With a job, a family, a mortgage, donates to the World Hunger Fund and Greenpeace -- and instead of one G-d, he just happens to have two or three or even several dozen, all lined up on the dashboard of his car

I've been asked to sing a solo performance in church. I'm nervous, I've only ever sung in the Christmas Program. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or suggestions for songs that they love to hear a soprano sing? I really want to be inspirational, not boring. Song choice is not my strength. . . I usually just get assigned a song! Please help!

Thank You!

A year ago, a big earthquake shake my city, made me lost some relatives and friends. And I thought, I would die at that time.

After that earthquake, i realized, I did so many sins, and death can come suddenly... I don't wanna die before I've been forgiven. Then I tried to be a good Muslim, Remembered about death and day of judgment, Took salat in the early time, Learned more about Quran, Did some sunnaths.....

but day by day, I changed, back to what i used to be, spent much time in front of TV or shopping malls, lazy to learn Quran, Lazy to take pray in the early time...
I forget about death and day of judgment.

Then now, I heard rumors that tomorrow will be an earthquake that bigger than last year earthquake.

Then, again, I remember about my sins, about death, and day of judgment

Why am I always like this??
What should I do? So I can always remember about the aims of life, not only look for enjoyment?

Frankly, I'm afraid if disaster will come again
I haven't prepared to die

Atheism has spread like wildfire through Europe and Australia, something which can only be applauded. However, in recent times there has been Atheist organisations that have been created such as the Brights Movement. By becoming organised, does atheism not face the horrible possibility of becoming inflexible, dogmatic and narrow-minded? Is atheism in danger of becoming the very thing it is against?
