Okay i don't want to sound wierd but every since i seen the movie the Da Vinci Code its starting to rattle my nerves a little bit but am i the only one that feels that away or am i just going crazy its like is that some thing to belive or some thing not to belive i belive in God ,Jesus 100% but what if that really is what the Holy Grail really is Help .... If you read the early translations of the bible it says a "vessel" with Jesus blood. It does not a cup. A child could be a vessel. Mary Magdalene was from wealthy family. The oils she put on Jesus feet were at that time very expensive. A prostitute could not have afforded them. The church, during the council of Nicea, voted to put in the bible to make women property of men. Women could then be collared and led around like a pet or any other beast or burden. The vote was reported 48 to 50. How accurate that info is, is any ones guess. But the church has done everything it can to make sure women do not gain any power. There has to be a reason for it some place. The Da Vinci code, and if you want some heavy reading, Holy Blood Holy Grail, make a lot of sense.

One, there is no reason for Christ having a child to make any difference in your beliefs.
Two, The DaVinci code was loosely based on a pseudo attempt at building a theory called "Holy blood Holy Grail" - the research and presentation in this book are so laughable that no serious student of history would take it seriously.

There were a lot of truths in that movie, but there was also a lot of stuff that was just made up to make it an interesting movie. I think it raises some good questions though, and it's great that you aren't completely close minded and that you are actually able to discuss whether or not the things you believe in are real or not.
