And of course, I have to ask why?

Think of every pain you’ve ever had in your life. Think of all the missed joy, the missed love that you never got. Think of every confusion and uncertainty that plagued you with fear.

Do you realize that everything we missed here will be given to us in heaven? Do you realize that all the love and happiness that slipped away will be yours, forever? Do you realize it will be given in such abundance that we do not have the ability to comprehend it?

THIS is how much God loves us. THIS is what He wants to give us.

On a personal side, I came to realize this after a huge heartbreak of my own. I’ve grown up with rejection my whole life from my grandparents, aunts and uncles because of religious differences. They are Jehovah’s Witness; I am Catholic. They believe Catholics are of the devil, and therefore shun me and my family. I’ve tried many times to bridge the gap, but to no avail.

Is it possible, during the time the Israelites lived in Egypt, Ammon-Amen-Amon-Ra was one of their chief gods, even in the
time of Joseph? Amon was the god of the creative power to the
Egyptians.

It would be the same thing as a Christian saying horrible things about your father.

We think of God as our father. What makes you so insensitve? God isn't just a topic of conversation for us. God is our life.

I will prove this point by the disrespectful posts I get. Everyone take notice who these irreverant pukes are.

A great deal of answers posted here (pertaining to Jehovah's Witnesses) have to deal with the so called misrepresentation of the apocalyspe. There have been wrong expectations I agree but it can't be labeled false prophecy.Jonah the prophet proclaimed judgement against Nin′e·veh was he labeled a false prophet? According to the bible the answer would be no. He was doing what he was told at the time. God changed his mind due to the repentance of the people.

Many of the so called "christians" today accuse Witnesses of many things but do they not remember that in your developing countries prior to modern day Witnesses that many used the bible keep people in bondage. You may say, "not my church."Whether or not it's your church it is still the people of your faith (Catholic, Pentacostal, Baptists...)So what does that make your faith? Your faith is guilty of far worse things than that of Jehovah's Witnesses but yet you condemn the teaching and practices of them? Should you be concerned

A friend like thee might bear my soul to hell.
Fie, thou dishonest Satan!
Leave thy vain bibble-babble

the authority of the Catholic Church?

I know I'm going to get smacked for this question, but the fact remains that the 27 books of the New Testament are there because the Catholic Church wrote and approved them. Therefore, anytime someone reads/uses the bible and stands by it as the Holy Word of God, they are recognizing the authority of the Church.

I was atheist but then I converted to the LDS religion. I used to make some of the comments I've seen on here to my friends about religion but now that I look at them they make it look like the person is ignorant.
So why do they seem closed off? Are they afraid to be proved wrong?

After listening to a lot of your coments I am more aware of the fact that Satan planted his seed while God was sleeping and that God is letting the Good seed and the weeds grow together until the end of the Age. And I am fully understanding of the fact that when he gathers you all in bundles to be burned in the unquenchable fire you will all beg for mercey if the pain isn't so bad that you can't speak. Hay just think you will have a long long long time in Hell, then you will be thrown into the lake of fire to swim for eternity like a french fry.It doesn't mater what you think all that maters is truth.

No offense to the the Jewish folks out there. Many of my best friends are Jewish, and in fact, I'm half Jewish. But, why do so many people think Jesus was Jewish when he was OBVIOUSLY a Christian? I mean, it's just common sense.
