Well, I just noticed that I've broken a blood vessel in my eye and it looks terrible. With all of my atheist partisanship, perhaps God is punishing me for being such a sinful, blasphemous boy. I still don't believe in any God, but what a coincidence!

That Muslim men make them silly. They all the time say that Islam gave many rights to women for example one of them is this that she shouldn't wash the dishes and this is not her duty to work in house for her husband.

Did you underetand that they only give those rights to women that they are sure she can never get them.

It is impossible for a woman to don't work in the home. Even if she tell her husband I will not work in your house he will tell her, it is ok, I will marry with another woman.

Most Muslim women suffer from Islam. This is fact and You men are devil and make them your slave.

I am Muslim girl and live in Iran and all the rules here are against women.

I heard that christians will try to rule the world imposing religious laws including sunday worship (which is said to be pagan). Then of course God punishes them eventually and the innocent people who died because of these violent "christians" are resurrected along with all the other good people who died and got to heaven (the good living also go with them). Then Earth is left desolate for 1000 years.

In 1986 he along with the CDF released a letter titled "Letter to the bishops on the pastoral care of Homosexual persons" in that leter he seemed to imply that the voience and discrimination that they have suffered is their fault and that they are disordered with a what is said to have a predisposition to evil tendecies. The letter also said that they are not entitled to the same rights as everybody else. Amongst the areas that they should be discriminated against is housing, and certain jobs, Ones like teaching, coaching and military service. It seems to me that his understanding is that such people are disordered and less than complete since they are not attracted to the oppisit gender. His attiude towards them has shown no compassion nor appreciation of their predicament. It realy concerns me because of his harsh atitude and the harm to the church/ homosexual relationship.

Isn't that why everyone is arguing and wanting to spread his faith? I guess we all like to follow the norm, wether Atheists or Theists or whatever. If Christianity becomes the norm, Christians will be more at ease. Atheists will feel isolated. If Atheism becomes the norm, Christians will feel hurt.
It's a journey to emotional well-being. Don't you think?

I'll try to keep this brief. Quite simply do you think that religious leaders, for all monotheistic religions actually pray and usher in Judgement Day? I ask this quite simply because of all the Doomsayers in the world. A lot of the monotheistic religions have Revelations about the End of Days, and it seems to me quite a few people try to glamorize and hark on these dark times. Christianity is especially keen on playing off the Hell and Brimstone, and Doomsday charade.

Sometimes I really think there are people out there who try and speed along the process. Basically, extremists that try to herald in the End of Days just to prove that their religion was right and everyone else's was wrong. Mostly it's the monotheists that are notorious for this type of behaviour. Personally if you want to usher in the End of Days, you'd be better off just killing yourself...but anyway, what do you guys think? Religion trying to fulfill it's own prophecies at the cost of humanity?

Since Muhammad was illiterate and his revelations were recited over a period of 23 years and were not compiled until 21 years after his death (official Muslim viewpoint), or maybe 100-200 years after his death (academic viewpoint); how do we know that the Holy Qur'an bears any resemblance to what the arch-angel Gabriel told Muhammad? Surely the game of Chinese whispers teaches us that the Qur'an is unlikely to be anything more than a vague verisimilitude to the actual experiences of Muhammad, at best. At worst, it is just a later secular compilation to justify the Muslim conquests.

And a found out today that faith alone will not get anyone into Heaven. I have been struggling with my bad temper, judging people, and swearing. I feel the bible is a rule book, and if you fail God will throw you into hell. I am always failing. Being a christian is just too hard. Are you christians struggling with anything? I also have unforgivness in my heart towards my mother. This chrisitans thing is just too hard. Do you agree?
