Since Muhammad was illiterate and his revelations were recited over a period of 23 years and were not compiled until 21 years after his death (official Muslim viewpoint), or maybe 100-200 years after his death (academic viewpoint); how do we know that the Holy Qur'an bears any resemblance to what the arch-angel Gabriel told Muhammad? Surely the game of Chinese whispers teaches us that the Qur'an is unlikely to be anything more than a vague verisimilitude to the actual experiences of Muhammad, at best. At worst, it is just a later secular compilation to justify the Muslim conquests.

There is no such thing as allah. Allah was the name for a mythical "moon god". There is only one God, the God of Christianity. All others are counterfeit. The koran is therefore a work of fiction which is of no real importance in the real world, although it does serve as a guide for islamic terrorists. It is a document full of hatred and encourages the murder of anyone who does not believe in it's teachings.

In all honesty the quick answer is you don't. Even if Muhammad wasn't illiterate or you could trace the origins to people who knew him, your still left with taking his word that he spoke with Allah. The same is true with most religions, can we take the christian bible as the word of god, no not really. In these cases if is just a matter of faith. If you believe that these texts contain truth then surely that is enough.

I believe in an academic viewpoint that the Quran with all it's truthful information and it's scientific facts cannot be a man written book so if it's not what do you think it is? The answer is simple if you did a quick research: this book is 100% Divine you can use these sites to see for your self:

"Since Muhammad was illiterate"...that what proves that they are words of Allah as he didn't make it up...and the fact that it's only holy book that hasn't been changed(not a single word)
along the years_unlike other books_proves that also.who ever tried to make words like that have failed....
the problem that who haven't read the qur'an in arabic just the translation of its meaning, you would have known that these words are no man words

Because the Holy Quran was transmitted from Allah (swt) to the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) through the Angel Jibrail.
The Holy Quran is the word of Allah (swt), the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was illiterate, so he could not write this book

All holy books of religion are taken on faith by believers. There is no scientific way to prove that God (no matter what He is called by different religions) gave the Prophets the words in the various holy books.

Bottom line to those who want to argue books...
The Truth--- if it comes from God--- will have POWER (signs, wonders, miraculous events that accompany the preaching).

To the extent it is taught and believed properly- we expect that power to show up.

I've asked other religions what power they claim to have- and they never claim any. Christianity has these signs- among those who actually believe the Bible literally. (Mark 16: 17, 18)

So- no need to say "My book's better than your book"... just compare power and let that decide who's got the goods.
