Barney R. My question is seeking some kind of consensus of whether there may be such a thing as an authentic humanity - since the world is immersed in such a great melting pot of ideas of how we aught live in the best mode that defines us best.

You really need to define what authentic humanity is before asking the question.
Is it defined by your beliefs?
Is belief a way of life, and is questioning an alternative?
Do those who are indifferent display the intelligence to know that other choices are wrong?

Who can say which is truly authentic humanity? Many spheres, many ways. Many houses as in many countries.

The human species is constantly evolving, just as other species. When you don't evolve, you die out. Let's hope we don't destroy ourselves before we give ourselves the chance to become more rational, intelligent, and caring creatures.
