Religion might take you to a church building but a relationship with Jesus Christ will take you to heaven. We are the church and pure religion is to serve Christ by serving others in his name and for his glory, Amen.

This Book contains clear evidences for mankind and is a guidance and a mercy for a people who possess firm faith.

And God has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with an eternal law, so that every soul may be requited for that which it earns; and they shall not be wronged.

Hast thou considered the case of him who has taken his own low desire for his god, and whom God has adjudged as having gone astray on the basis of His perfect knowledge, and whose ears and whose heart He has sealed up, and on whose eyes He has put a covering.Who, then, will guide him after God has so decreed concerning him? Will you not then take heed?

And they say, 'There is nothing for us but this our present life; we die and we live; and nothing but time destroys us.' But they have no real knowledge of it; they do nothing but conjecture.

Holy Quran

Who, then, will guide him after God has so decreed concerning him?

Just a while ago, my computer was freezing up, and I found myself "talking" to the computer, saying, "Oh please, please, please don't freeze up!" Obviously, I know it's not listening to me. But it's just something I do.

I was just wondering, is that sort of like a prayer? Do Atheists do that?

And for Christians....Is it wrong for me to do that? Should I direct my wishes to God instead? I mean, I know I should, but is it wrong when we "talk" to our computers and cars like that?!

I am not sure.

If everything happens for a reason than is nothing left up to our own free will?

Still, some things happen that just seem to 'fall into place'. They just seem to be meant to be.

What do you think?

they never give a proper answer, just a wishy-washy series of confused statements, none of which make sense.

also each answer is different, not in the sense that there is more than one answer, but more in the sense that each answer is made up to suit what that individual wants to believe.

aren't all religions and beliefs like this. isn't this the reason why there are so many different religions and belief systems in the world.

if god existed and the bible is fact then why are religious ideas and believe so disperate.

This philly doesn't even know the trinity concept, and yet wants to give us her leaders word. The more they confuse the issue, the more they will mislead enough people to lead them to a new religion. It's more about the religion of self worship.

I just would ask you think about this, and then you can mock away. But just take 1 minute to think this over. How many miracles been performed in the name of atheism? How many tears been wiped away with atheism. How many broken hearts been comforted with atheism? In your moment of weakness or death will you cry out to atheism?
Just think about it my friends.
I love you.

Do you think that the bad things happen in our lives because we have sinned and God feel we need to be punished? After all it says in the bible "Vengence will be mine sayth the Lord".

Without morals, they start attacking people. If they will reject the word of Jesus Christ, what in the world do you think they will do when given an opportunity to do the wrong thing. This is not a group to be messed with, and once you start to read of lot of their answers and thoughts on religion, you will then only realize that you will have a lot to worry about with your families future.

What if Godly people where in attendance? What would have happened then? Only polite applause and gratefulness for the love of the Lord and entertainment. That's all. Just like the old days! Remember Vegas? Once a place to bring the family and see Sammy Davis Jr. Now it's just hookers, peep shows, and guys walking around with dresses looking at other men.

THE FIREMANS PRAYER

When l am called to duty god,
where-ever flames may rage,
give me strength to save some life,
whatever be its age.

Help me embrace a little child,
before it is too late,
or save an older person from
the horror of that fate.

Enable me to be alert and to hear the
weakest shout,
and quickly and efficiently,
to put the fire out.

I want to fill my calling and
to give the best in me,
to guard my every neighbour and
protect his property

And if according to my fate,
l am to lose my life,
please bless with your protective hand,
my children and my wife.

ok so it aint a question, but theres 10pts up for grabs for the best comment

If The DaVinci Code is based on poor historical research and implausible speculation, the Left Behind series is similarly based on implausible interpretations of the Book of Revelation that ignore the most likely meaning of the text, historical context, and other crucial considerations. If you are going to be critical, please be self-critical too!

Especially online like on boards. Whenever there's a question and something about God pops up, there's always one guy who has to say his piece to start an argument or..........I guess they think it makes them smart. Like when I used to post on Gamefaqs.com, there was a topic that was something like "Do you think _______ would go to hell if he/she died?" (forgot who they were talking about). And sure enough some jack@$$ comes in and says "Fictional beings aren't judged by fictional things." And another said "Well, since hell or heaven doesn't exist, no." Come on, if you wanna belive we live crappy lives to rot in the ground, fine. Let everyone belive what they want stop with the snotty comments and all that talking down to us crap. (by the way, I'm a chatholic)

If you are a Christian and you could be persuaded it is the end times and that there will be a post-tribulation rapture, would you take up arms and fight your non-Christian fellow citizens?

Jesus orders his followers to kill in his name.

Luke 19:27 "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."

Before I read this passage, I had some respect for Jesus. Now it is apparent that Jesus did not respect human life. If you wanted to earn salvation through merit, treating Jesus as an ally instead of submitting to him, Jesus would have you murdered.

Jesus got exactly what he deserved on that cross. Good game.
